What GTA RP YouTubers & Streamers Are Most Entertaining

Some of the most entertaining content found on YouTube and Twitch comes from Grand Theft Auto 5 roleplaying. With the freedom of roleplay, GTA Online content creators are allowed to truly maximize on their own creativity as they craft their own characters and storylines which captivate audiences around the world.

Within the massively successful Grand Theft Auto Online exists a more niche roleplaying community. This community plays on customized GTAO servers where players take up a certain role within the city of Los Santos and play the game completely in-character, developing their own unique narratives. It’s a type of gameplay that has become extremely popular on YouTube and Twitch, as it caters itself perfectly to content creation. Generally, the roles of these GTA Online RP characters are divided between everyday civilians and law enforcement.

With the recent update to the NoPixel server, Grand Theft Auto roleplaying has seen a resurgence in popularity. On this server, developed by Twitch streamer Koil, players hold many different roles – ranging from civilians and police officers to lawyers and EMTs. The vast majority of characters on the server are civilians, who are working small jobs or committing crimes, while a more specialized group of players that goes through an entire training process makes up law enforcement. Each of these roles presents an opportunity for many different types of characters, and it is what has driven the success of GTA Online roleplaying for content creators.

GTA 5 RP is Driven by its Characters

There are a lot of great content creators in the Grand Theft Auto Online roleplaying community, and many of them play multiple different characters. Civilian roleplay in GTA Online is much more lenient and crime-oriented, while law enforcement roleplay is much more structured and taken seriously. This clash of approaches makes for incredibly entertaining character interactions, and while preferences will always come down to personal taste, there are several content creators who have emerged as some of the most popular as a result of the characters they predominantly play.

GTA 5 Civilian Role Player: AnthonyZ

AnthonyZ’s Tony Corleone, a founding member of the Cleanbois gang, might be the single most entertaining character on the NoPixel server. With his iconic duck voice and hilariously stupid jokes, there isn’t a better character to watch in Grand Theft Auto 5 roleplaying.

GTA 5 Police Role Player: EsfandTV

EsfandTV’s Cletus Cornwood has become one of the most recognizable characters on the NoPixel server. Amidst the more serious members of GTA Online law enforcement, Cornwood is a hysterical take on a police officer and has rapidly risen through the ranks of the force, becoming a prominent character within the city.

GTA 5 Role Player: Lirik

He doesn’t regularly roleplay, but Lirik’s Barksdale family tree provides some of the most entertaining content to be found on Twitch and YouTube when he chooses to jump into the server. Lirik’s most recent character, Officer Bayvon Barksdale, has been one of the funniest characters to watch on NoPixel with his comically deep voice but serious approach to the job.

Popular GTA Online streamers like buddah, dasMEHDI, Kyle, LAGTVMaximusBlack, MOONMOON, Ssaab and Timmac are all terrific role players who each bring something unique to the table with their wildly different characters. There are so many great role players in Grand Theft Auto Online that it’s just not possible to name them all. All of these content creators stream live on Twitch, as well as upload some of their most entertaining scenarios to YouTube, and there is a very active community online surrounding the current status of ongoing stories on the server. In a lot of ways, Grand Theft Auto 5 roleplay is like a never ending television series and these are just some of the content creators who bring it to life.
