James León, also known as The Beaver on Netflix’s Sexy Beasts, shocked fans when he took off his mask, and we’re here to share information about what he looks like under his disguise. He was a contestant in the second episode of the series, and he was looking to find love with one of the three beasts. James is a lab technician from Los Angeles “whose size gets in the way of finding love.” James went on dates with the zombie, pixie, and leopard before narrowing his choices to a final two and ultimately announcing who his sexy beast was. Here is what James looks like under his elaborate costume and what he has been up to since the show ended.

Sexy Beasts has the costume design level of The Masked Singer and a premise that is similar to another Netflix original, Love is Blind. Viewers are introduced to a new beast each episode, along with their three potential suitors. Everyone is wearing over-the-top makeup and prosthetics, so cast members don’t know what other Sexy Beasts stars look like until they unmask. James said in a confessional that people look at him and see someone who is cocky, but noted that “as big as my muscles are, my heart’s bigger.”

James then boasted about his 20-inch biceps. After that, he added that he was an “a*s man,” although the premise of Sexy Beasts is that physical appearance should not be as important as good conversations when dating. James from the wacky dating show may be a lab tech, but his Instagram says he is also an actor, and he has posted videos of his stage combat training. He started out his acting in a “Superman short film,” where he plays Clark Kent. James was also a bodybuilding champion. He has kept up with his bodybuilding to maintain his impressive physique. Many fans are calling Sexy Beasts the stuff of nightmares, especially since some of the costumes are grotesque, such as the zombie on James’ episode of the show. After going on three dates with the different women, James decided to let the zombie Tamiko go, and after she was unmasked, he shared his regret at sending her packing. He then went on a date, making an ice sculpture heart with the pixie. He turned that into a competition that he won and later showed off his skeet shooting skills on a date with the leopard.

When he chose the leopard as his sexy beast, the pair seemed to hit it off, sharing a few kisses. Both of them said they liked what they saw. James did appear to miss the goal of Sexy Beasts because he immediately went back to thinking about getting together with one of the women he sent home. She was like his backup if it didn’t work out with the leopard. Hopefully, there will be more Sexy Beasts, if only to see two people in wacky animal masks attempt to make out.
