Red Notice is coming to Netflix on November 12, but what time will it be available to stream? Streaming platforms continue to be at the top of their game as the coronavirus pandemic continues, and most of them keep on offering original content and housing movies that, for one reason or another, didn’t make it to theaters. Among those is Red Notice, which after a limited release in cinemas, is now coming to Netflix for all subscribers to enjoy.

Red Notice is an action-comedy movie directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds. It follows John Hartley (Johnson), the FBI’s top profiler who when an Interpol-issued Red Notice goes out, immediately gets on the case. During this global pursuit that leaves him in the middle of a daring heist, he’s forced to partner with Nolan Booth (Reynolds), the world’s greatest art thief, in order to catch the world’s most wanted art thief: “The Bishop” (Gadot). Soon, the three of them are entangled in an adventure that takes them from a secluded prison to the jungle and more, and they inevitably have to share time with each other. Also starring are Ritu Arya, Chris Diamantopoulos, Vincenzo Amato, and Rafael Petardi.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Originally planned to be released by Universal Pictures in June 2020, Red Notice was delayed to November 2020 back in 2018, but in July 2019, Netflix took over. Red Notice got a limited theatrical release on November 5, 2021, before being sent to Netflix on November 12. For those who didn’t get to watch it in theaters, Red Notice will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday, November 12 at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET/8 a.m. BST, which is the schedule that all Netflix releases usually follow.

As Red Notice is labeled as a Netflix Original, it will be available to stream for everyone at some point on Friday, November 12, with the exact time depending on in which part of the world you’re located. Red Notice marks the third collaboration between Thurber and Johnson following other comedies and action movies: Central Intelligence in 2016, also starring Kevin Hart, and Skyscraper in 2018, so viewers can expect the same tone and sense of humor found in those previous stories. Although Red Notice didn’t do well during its limited theatrical release (which is understandable) and hasn’t been well-received by critics either, its box office numbers as well as the audience’s response can change for the better once it’s released on Netflix.

Although cinemas around the world are now open and working again, not everyone feels comfortable returning to them yet, so streaming platforms continue to be an important source of entertainment for many as well as a home for those movies that either skipped a theatrical release or got a limited one. Red Notice’s reception can take a turn during its time on Netflix, and it will surely attract the audience’s attention thanks to its three main actors.
