For Grand Theft Auto Online, it has become a yearly tradition for snow to fall in Los Santos during the festive season, but it doesn’t last forever. Along with the snow adding a festive vibe to the online portion of the game, players are also able to have snowball fights with each other and fully experience the white blanket that has covered the entirety of the game’s map. While the scenery of Los Santos changes, new festive items and deals are offered to players to help embrace the holiday season.

GTA Online has seen a host of different updates over the years that have added new activities and jobs to do, as well as methods of making more money, and the winter update includes both of these elements – in addition to a charming blanket of snow. GTA Online’s newest free update The Contract was recently released, allowing players to see what happens to Franklin Clinton, one of GTA V’s main story protagonists, after the end of the game, and with the money earned after doing The Contract’s missions, players can fully take advantage of everything that the GTA Online winter update provides.

It doesn’t stop there, as doing certain online jobs, like VIP Contracts & Preps, gives players a 1.5x cash and RP bonus, while doing Stockpile and In & Out jobs will give players a 2x bonus. Players in need of money in GTA Online, or who would like the items on offer, should take advantage right away, as Los Santos will return to normal come December 29.

GTA Online’s Winter Fesitivies Offer Plenty Of Rewards Before Ending

Players who want to save as much money as possible are in luck, as GTA Online has festive deals on clothing items and cars. Vehicles such as the Akula and the Deveste Eight are currently 40% off while all Contract clothing items are 25% off. With the addition of the winter update that means some old festive cosmetics come back for players to enjoy.

Of course, items such as holiday sweaters, masks, and scarves make a return just in time for the GTA Online festive December season. All of these items are exclusive during the snowfall, meaning once the snow disappears, so do the items, and players will have to wait for their return next year. Players who have missed the opportunity to purchase these items or are new to GTA Online now have the chance to buy them while the snowfall lasts.

There are plenty more festive deals for players to take advantage of, but also a few additional bonuses. For players that log onto GTA Online on Christmas Day, they will receive items such as a Clownfish Mask, a Firework Launcher, and other assorted goodies.
