Netflix’s hit crime drama is back and Ozark season 4 filming locations continue to showcase the Atlanta area. With an incredible cast including Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner, the show has been a massive success for the streaming service with Ozark season 3 winning 975,000 viewers on its release day in March of 2020. Now, fans will see Ozark’s season 4—the final season—debut in two seven-episode installments, with the show returning to the Ozarks (sort of) for the final time.

Ozark begins in Chicago with corporate-turned-criminal Marty Byrde. After becoming involved with cartel leader, Omar Navarro, Ozark’s Marty Byrde moves his family to Missouri’s Ozark Mountains in a desperate attempt to keep himself and his family alive. The Byrde family integrates into the town, laundering money for Navarro through local Byrde businesses despite setbacks that cost them dearly.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Though set in the Ozark Mountains, Ozark filming locations were limited there. Netflix’s hit show is filmed mainly in Georgia, specifically, the Atlanta area, with some street scenes also shot in Chicago. Here’s a list of Ozark’s filming locations and what events occur there in the popular show.

Lickety Splitz Night Club – Norcross, GA

Ozark filming location Lickety Splitz is filmed using an abandoned building at 6025 Oakbrook Parkway in the northern Atlanta suburb of Norcross. Marty acquires the business by hosting a heist with Ruth to acquire the ownership documents from Bobby Dean who is murdered by his boss Darlene Snell shortly thereafter. After the heist, Marty hires Ozark’s hard-nosed yet fragile character, Ruth, to manage the nightclub following his acquisition—a move that reveals Ruth’s business acumen.

The Byrde House – Flowery Branch, GA

Originally a shared estate with the terminally-ill Buddy, The Byrde family house is located in Flowery Branch, another suburb north of Atlanta. The Ozark filming location is situated right on the southern shore of beautiful Lake Lanier. After relocating from Chicago, the Byrde family moves into the home and remains living there after Buddy’s death, through Ozark season 4.

Omar Navarro’s Estate – Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA

Atlanta’s Westview Cemetery is located in the western part of the city and plays for Ozark cartel leader Omar Navarro’s Mexican estate. The cemetery’s gorgeous stone mausoleum and abbey are the specific Ozark filming locations used through Ozark season 4. Marty and Wendy arrive at the Navarro estate in the Ozark season 3 finale to a bloody welcome as Navarro lawyer, Helen Pierce, is shot by her boss, and the Byrdes are pulled further into the Cartel’s business.

The Missouri Belle Casino – Stone Mountain, GA

Though the interiors of the Byrde’s casino, The Missouri Belle, were shot at Atlanta’s Eagle Rock Studios, a riverboat at Atlanta’s Stone Mountain Park serves as the exterior Ozark filming location. The riverboat casino serves as a way for the Byrdes to launder more money for Omar Navarro and the Ozark filming location is featured prominently throughout Ozark season 3. Memorable scenes from the Ozark filming location include when Ruth pushes Frank Jr from the boat in Ozark season 3, episode 1, and also when he retaliates and beats her in front of the casino in Ozark season 3, episode 7.
