Ghostrunner is a super-fast platformer with lots of slashing and neat tricks. The cyperpunk-esque ninja has lost his memory and with the help of the Architect, is searching for answers. While climbing through the city and cutting everything down that stands in the way, there are a variety of items to collect including sword skins.

Katana skins give a unique flair to the player’s weapon and some are really worth collecting for their visual appeal. While some are easy to find, others can be a little challenging so this guide will provide some direction in finding them.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

All 15 Sword Locations in Ghost Runner

  • Sword #1- This is the first sword that players will start with.
  • Sword #2- Found in Level 3 The Climb. At the very end after sliding down toward the exit, turn around and look for a sign that says stop. Walk behind it and a question mark will be there. Collecting it will provide the sword
  • Sword #3 – Located in Level 4, Jacked Up. Around the start, there are some cranes with blue grappling points moving across the screen. Turn toward the direction the hooks are moving, and go to the back of the platform where boxes are stacked up, and jump behind them for the question mark.
  • Sword #4 – In Level 5, Breath In. Within a giant room, there is a crane that can be moved from left to right. Hit the switch and quickly run and grab the hook. Release on the platform dead ahead to obtain the sword skin.
  • Sword #5 – Also Level 5 and this one is a little tricky. There will be a room with a green icon on a high ledge. This is something of a time trial. After activating it, jump down and turn to the right along the walls until a moving fan comes into sight. Jump through it and the sword skin will be in there. Players can probably jump through the fan normally but it moves pretty fast.
  • Sword #6 – Level 6, Road to Amida. Find a room with plenty of rotating and spinning platforms. Completing the puzzle will bring players to two sets of stairs. The second set has the sword skin but going to the first and jumping across the gap works all the same.
  • Sword #7 – Level 7, Run up. Players will come across some Robotic enemies to eliminate. Afterward, wall-run to a platform in a giant room that has a hook hanging before a higher and much larger platform. To the left, there is a landing to drop down to, there the sword skin is waiting.
  • Sword #8 – Level 9, Dharma City. After riding the very first drone, there will be zipline like rails that players have to traverse toward the end. After reaching the final platform, turn around and jump right back on the last rail. It’ll curve into a lone short hallway where the sword skin has been placed.
  • Sword #9 – Level 10, Echos. After killing some samurai, wall-run across some digital billboards to a higher floor. There will be another ramp to slide down, don’t. To the left of the ramp, there are more billboards to wall run, take them and drop down to the sword skin.
  • Sword #10 – Also Level 10. In an underground arena, go back to the starting point after killing everything. There will be a small hole in a wall next to a sign with some east-Asian writing. Wall-run into the hole, and turn right to find the skin.
  • Sword #11 – Level 12, In Her Own Image. After killing the boss and learning the new ability Surge, players will be awarded the sword skin.
  • Sword #12 – Level 13, The Forbidden Zone. After a ridiculously huge fight with multiple enemy types, go back to the start of the area with a ramp leading down into a bunch of walls covered with some graffiti. To the left there is a wall that’s slightly raised, players should see a room behind it. Slide underneath and the skin will be inside.
  • Sword #13 – Level 14, Reign in Hell. Run all the way down the hall until meeting a wall at the very beginning of the level. Turn right and there will be a box with an electric symbol that players can hit. Smack it and a door will raise revealing the skin.
  • Sword #14 – Also level 14. Players will be chased by some exploding enemies. After escaping, go to the area they came from and a zip line should be floating in the air toward the end. Jump and m0ve to the right, there will be a large floating area with the skin.
  • Sword #15 – Level 15, Things You Wouldn’t Believe. After finishing a large puzzle of zip-lines and making it to the very top. There will be a tower nearby with a glowing red and black box that looks like a massive computer database. Jump and dash to the platform and this final skin will be behind it.

These directions might seem hard to follow verbally so to make them easier to find, here is a video by Maka91Productions showing how to find them visually as well as any other artifacts that can be found in the game. These things take quite a bit of time and patience to obtain so try not to get frustrated.
