The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword & Shield reintroduces a lot of former items and Pokemon back into the game. One of the items that has been added to the game is the Apricorn. Apricorns are collectible fruit that can be turned into special Pokeballs using the Cram-o-Matic. These rare Pokeballs are referred to as Apriballs and can be hard for a player to get their hands on.

There are plenty of ways for players to obtain Apricorns on the Isle of Armor, but players will need to have the new DLC in order to find Apircorns or to turn them into Pokeballs. These rare items are worth the hunt as they are the only way to obtain Apriballs in-game, and Apriballs can be traded with other trainers for other rare items or even rare Pokemon. This guide will teach players where they can find Apricorns on the Isle of Armor.

Finding Apricorns in Pokemon Sword & Shield

The quickest and easiest way to find Apricorns is by shaking Berry Trees. While Berry Trees can be found in the Wild Area of the base game, only the trees on the Isle of Armor can reward the player with Apricorns. Players will want to shake the tree as much as they can without being attacked by the Pokemon in the tree so that they can collect the most items possible. Not every tree has Apricorns, but trees can also produce rare berries so it is worth shaking every tree.

Apricorns can also be purchased for Watts from NPCs. NPCs are scattered around the Isle of Armor, and some will give the player rare items including Apricorns. While these encounters are random and refresh daily it is still a great way to pick up a few extra Apricorns.

And lastly, Apricorns can be found as items on the ground. There are plenty of shiny spots on the ground that players can interact with to collect an item, and some of these spots may even be Apricorns. While it is never a guarantee that a spot will be an Apricorn, there are plenty of other rare items that can be scavenged this way so it is worth players collecting every shiny spot they see.

There are seven different color Apricorns that players can collect (black, blue, green, pink, red, white, yellow), and while in previous games some Apricorns were rarer than others, they all hold the same value in Pokemon Sword & Shield.
