Where to Find Bigfoot Location in Fortnite

One of the major changes to Fortnitein Chapter 2, Season 5 is the introduction of 40 NPC bounty hunters who can spawn at various locations around the island and who act as quest-givers and vendors. Players can accept and complete quests and bounties for them, receive Gold Bars, a new in-game currency, as payment from them, and have a chance to purchase Exotic Weapons, upgrades, or bodyguard services from them using those Gold Bars. All of the NPCs are part of a group considered the greatest hunters across all realities. One of these characters is Bigfoot and, as expected, he is a rare spawn who can be incredibly difficult to find.

Bigfoot has more spawn locations than any other NPC in Fortnite Season 5 with five possible spots, making him difficult to locate. He can also move around, so he is rarely in exactly the same place across multiple games. Players can take their chances and guess where he might be found, or they can find another NPC, Bunker Jonesy, to purchase clues to his whereabouts during a game. When found, Bigfoot can sell Zero Point fish to players, which work like Zero Point crystals and allow players to move around the map in short bursts and teleport through boxes. Here’s how to find Bigfoot in Fortnite Season 5.

Where to Find Bigfoot in Fortnite

Bigfoot’s possible spawn locations are scattered across the map, though he is more likely to appear in certain places over others. His five spawn locations appear on the map above. These are:

• Coral Castle: On one of the western islands
• Steamy Stacks: At the furthest northeast point on the map, on the island just northeast of the stacks at Steamy Stacks
• Weeping Woods: On the northwestern edge of the woods.
• Slurpy Swamp: Near the Flush Factory at the southern tip of the swamp (moving south into Misty Meadows)
• Catty Corner: Atop the snowy mountains just south of the POI, near Bunker Jonesy’s second spawn location

If players intend to search for Bigfoot, they are most likely to find him at the Weeping Woods spawn location. Because he has a fairly wide radius where he can walk around, players will also not necessarily find him in the exact places marked on the map.

If players don’t want to spend time wandering in search of the most famous fabled cryptid, they can instead trade some Gold Bars to Bunker Jonesy for a clue to his whereabouts. In contrast to Bigfoot, Jonesy has only 2 spawn locations, both of which are near one another and near one of Bigfoot’s possible spawn locations.

Players will find Jonesy either near the big house on the hill at Camp Cod, the southern island off the mainland of the Fortnite map, or at the lodge to the west of Shipwreck cove, just east of the snowy mountains. When players find and speak to Jonesy, they will get the option to purchase a map to Bigfoot. This will highlight Bigfoot’s spawn location for the match on the player’s map for a time. Because it will disappear after a few minutes, players will need to mark it with a waypoint as soon as they receive it. This map will cost 100 Gold Bars, however, so players will need to be sure they’re ready to go after Bigfoot and be careful not to get eliminated on the way.

Players should note this clue only gives the exact location where Bigfoot first spawned. It will not necessarily show where he moved during the round, so players will need to be prepared to do some searching when they arrive.

Once players find Bigfoot, they can purchase and consume a Zero Point fish. He usually has 3 available. Each one will cost 196 Gold Bars.
