One of the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the adorable Cherubi, a Grass-type Cherry Pokémon that comes exclusively from shaking trees. Cherubi’s rarity comes not from its difficulty to be caught but from the slim chance of players finding one. RNG plays a significant role while hunting for Cherubi; therefore, Trainers must be extra patient when searching for this Cherry Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Cherubi inhabits several potential locations throughout the regions of Hisui, yet each spot has a relatively low spawn rate. Therefore, a good strategy would be to focus on one or two areas rather than visiting all possible points on the map. First, Trainers can encounter Cherubi within the Obsidian Fieldlands at the southernmost tip of the riverbank at the bottom of the map. Another region where Cherubi might spawn is in the Crimson Mirelands, particularly near the Solaceon Ruins and south of Gapejaw Bog. Finally, Cherubi has the most spawn points in the Coronet Highlands, varying from trees in Bolderoll Ravine to forests in the Primeval Grotto and Lonely Spring.

With so many choices, it may be challenging for Trainers to choose a location to begin their Cherubi search. Nevertheless, for the most promising results, it is recommended that players concentrate their attempts within the Obsidian Fieldlands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. This region has two possible trees where Cherubi might spawn, letting players focus their time and effort on two potential points rather than multiple across a map.

Cherubi’s Location in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

For easier access, Trainers are advised to unlock and use the Heights Camp instead of the Fieldlands Camp as the former is much closer to the target location. Additionally, using the Braviary Mount to fly across the map will significantly reduce its time to travel between the camp and riverbank. To unlock Hisuian Braviary, Trainers will need to do the main story mission, “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra,” during which they will receive the Ride Pokémon after defeating Sabi.

Starting from the camp in Obsidian Fieldlands, head over to two bluish berry trees at the bottom of the map, near the Moss Rock in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Those flying with Braviary will have a better view to check whether or not either of the trees is shaking. If one is trembling, throw a Poké Ball at it to draw out Cherubi. If neither tree is shaking or a Pokémon other than Cherubi pops out, return to Jubilife Village to refresh the area. Repeat this process until Cherubi finally spawns.
