How to Get Shadow Ball in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

The first and easiest way to obtain Shadow Ball in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is to progress through the story until players reach Celestic Town. From there, they should head to Route 210 and follow the thin, wooden bike trails to reach a ledge with two rocks and an item to the far left. Players can use the Rock Smash HM to break the rocks and then claim their Shadow Ball TM in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This item will only be obtainable once at that location, and it may take some time to locate another, so players should be careful deciding which Pokémon to teach it to.

Another way to collect the Shadow Ball TM is to use BP to buy it from the vendor in Battle Park. BP is earned by completing battles and earning a high streak in the Battle Tower. Players can purchase TM 30, or Shadow Ball, for 64 BP. The last way to find this move is to interact with NPCs in the Grand Underground. Occasionally, there will be a vendor selling Shadow Ball for spheres, but it’s randomized, so they may take some time to find.

Finding Shadow Ball is fairly easy after players reach Celestic Town in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, but additional TMs will require BP or spheres to purchase.
