Where to Find The Floating Rings at Weeping Woods in Fortnite (Week 7 Challenge)

Most of the Week 7 Challenges in FortniteSeason 3 make use of parts of the map where the water levels have begun to fall, including one challenge asking players to once again find and collect Floating Rings. This time, players will need to venture to Weeping Woods, which was only recently revealed, and gather five floating rings. This challenge has proved problematic in past weeks, so there is a chance players may receive auto-complete credit for it or see it swapped for a different challenge later this week. Should everything go according to plan, however, players should be sure to land at Weeping Woods for a match or two.

This time, players will need to build wooden ramps to reach the tops of trees, as all five Rings are located on treetops in the area. While they are close together, it may be a challenge to reach them all, especially if some unsuspecting player decides to cut down one of the trees with a Ring at the top. This guide will provide the locations for the Rings at Weeping Woods in Fortnite Season 3, as well as some tips for reaching them all.

Find the Rings at Weeping Woods in Fortnite Season 3

Weeping Woods is located in the southwest region of the map at D5 and D6. Players will notice a line of trees that curves slightly west, just southwest of The Authority. The Floating Rings are located above several of the trees in that line. The exact locations are marked above.

The locations for these rings are:

• At the northeast part of the forest, just southeast of the bridge over the river
• Directly south of the first tree, almost the farthest east point of the forest
• South and slightly west of the second tree, near the bend of the treeline
• West and slightly south of the third tree
• In the southwest corner of the forest

Players can and should drop onto the first tree in the northeast part of the forest, but they will need to build ramps to reach the others. It will help to have some materials on hand to do this quickly, but because the challenge takes place in a forest, there is plenty of wood to collect.

Reach the Rings at Weeping Woods in Fortnite Season 3

Players will need to build up to each of the remaining four Rings after they claim the first one. They can also build up to one tree and run across several treetops to reach some of the Rings that are closer together.

Players will likely want to complete this challenge in Team Rumble to avoid having too many other players in the same location looking to accomplish the same Week 7 Challenge. They’ll need to be careful, as another player could chop down the tree they’re on at any time. They would then need to build back up, all the way to the ring, which could leave them vulnerable to attack.
