Where to Find the Giant Exo Head in Destiny 2

One of the newest Exotic Weapons to arrive in Destiny 2: Beyond Light is the Lament Exotic Sword. The Lament has been praised as one of the best weapons to ever appear in Destiny, so many players are eager to complete the quest chain and unlock it. The Lament Exotic Sword is unique because it is part blade, part chainsaw. The quest to obtain one only recently went live after the Deep Stone Crypt Raid ended, and players are finding that there are a lot of steps in the chain before they can wield their new weapon. One of the first things players will need to do is find a Giant Exo Head and talk to it.

Players will note that the Giant Exo Head is marked on the map, but getting there is more difficult. This step in the quest chain, like the first one that has players finding and interacting with three of the nine Dead Exos, takes place on Europa. Here’s how to reach and interact with the Giant Exo Head to continue the Lament quest in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

Where to Find the Giant Exo Head in Destiny 2

After finding and interacting with three Dead Exos around Europa, players will see the Locate the Giant Exo quest appear. They should make their way to Bray Exoscience in Cadmus Ridge and travel down to enter the facility. They will need to turn right to enter the large room, then travel up the stairs to the small office.

Players will find there is only one way to go in the small office and should follow this path into the next room. Here, they should notice a new door has opened on the right wall. This is the previously unavailable area called Creation that opened after completion of the last Raid.

Following the corridors through Creation should lead to a room with a tram system on the right. In the back of this room, players will find a hole in the floor to drop down into.

Players should continue to follow the tunnels until they reach a giant room. There, the player will need to drop down from the walkway and search for the circle of broken glass flooring. Jumping through this, or over the side railing, will allow players to reach the lower walkways.

There is only one path to take here, so players should take it until they reach a steel door to their left at the top of a short flight of stairs. Follow the corridor into a room. Inside this room, players should be able to find the Giant Exo Head on the far wall.

Once the player reaches the head, they will need to interact with it to strike up a conversation. This should trigger the next quest in the chain. This chain may take players several weeks to complete, but this Exotic gear reward is well worth the effort.
