Every Season, Bungie updates Destiny 2 with new activities, rewards, and locations. This season, Season of the Splicer, the HELM has been updated and moved from its original location. The destinations tab has always been a little busy with icons, but locating the HELM is by no means too difficult a task. Usually, Bungie leaves a prompt for returning players informing them what has changed, but sometimes it’s easy to bypass those notes when trying to quickly jump into the action.

During Season of the Chosen, the HELM served as a war room explicitly for the use of the Guardians and the Vanguard’s top officials except for Ikora, who scarcely made an appearance last season. It also served as the brand new location for the Drifters Prismatic Recaster, which allowed Guardians to decode Engrams laden with darkness. This season opens a brand new room within the HELM and includes a few new lenses for the Prismatic Recaster to play around with. Here’s how players can find their way to the HELM in Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer.

Where to Find the HELM in Destiny 2

During Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen, the Helm was a travel destination on the tower map. When players would select the Tower, they would see the HELM node, like they might see Solstice and Halloween activities. However, during Season of the Splicer, players can now find the HELM floating above the Tower as a smaller, dedicated node. To access it, players should open the destination tab and find a new circle above the traveler representing the Tower.

There are several new options within the HELM node during Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen apart from instant travel. This season’s newest activity, Override, must be selected from within the HELM, unlike Battlegrounds from Season of the Chosen, which was located within the Vanguard node. Players can hover over the Override activity and check their daily and weekly challenge progress.

Another addition to the HELM in Season of the Splicer is the Eliksni room, where dozens of fallen from House Light work with Guardians and technicians, sharing technology and working on projects to deal with the Last City’s impending threat from the Vex, an eternal night. In this room, players will find the giant servitor where they can speak to Misraaks, and upgrade the Splicer Gauntlet gifted by him. Players should note that the upgrade table for the Battlegrounds Hammer is still available in the original room. Lastly, players can travel to the Eliksni quarter from the HELM map and see where the Eliksni and their ‘little ones’ have made their new home.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
