Yakuza: Like a Dragonhas players put into the shoes of Ichiban Kasuga as he goes on a personal quest to determine who was responsible for betraying him and sending him to jail. Known for its turn-based combat and various colorful characters, the game is a welcome addition to the Yakuza series.

The game naturally has a wide variety of enemies, and they can range from challenging bosses to weak burnout bullies. But one enemy type that has gotten a lot of attention is the Infested Vagabond. Surprisingly tough and granting a lot of XP upon defeat, this enemy has become a favorite for those who want to level up quickly in the mid-to-late game.

Where to Find the Infested Vagabond in Yakuza: Like a Dragon

The Infested Vagabond can be found near the homeless settlement. To be more specific, they can be found in the Yokohama Underground Dungeon on its second level. The dungeon itself becomes available when the player reaches Chapter 7. But from there the player can enter the dungeon, travel to level B2, and try to head toward the middle of the map. The Infested Vagabond should be around that area, but it may take a bit of searching before the player is able to find them.

The Infested Vagabond is a tricky enemy to fight. Not only are they willing to flee when taking damage, but they only take one point of damage when hit. So players are advised to make ample use of multiple-hit attacks and critical hits to them out as quickly as possible. If there are other enemies around, ignore them, and focus on the vagabond. It is not uncommon for the Infested Vagabond to run away at any given point, so it is important for the player to keep their focus solely on them.

But when the Infested Vagabond is defeated, players will get a pleasant reward in the form of a ton of experience points. Then the player will want to exit the area by heading over to B3. Unlike several other enemies in the game, the Infested Vagabond is set to spawn in a fixed location. This means when the player leaves the area, the Infested Vagabond’s spawn point should reset. Then the player can simply return to B2 to fight the Infested Vagabond once again. This is especially useful since there is a decent chance that vagabond ran away the last time they encountered the player. It also makes the location ideal for farming experience and leveling up the party.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is available on PCs, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
