The Purveyor in Fallout 76 has decided to change locations permanently, and players wanting to find her will need to seek her out in her new shop. Players can purchase weapons and other gear from various vendors around the map to help them as they attempt to re-colonize the Wasteland. The Purveyor is a unique merchant who sells Legendary weapons. What makes the Purveyor so different is the model by which she sells her wares and the currency she accepts.

Purchasing from Purveyor Murmrgh is a lot like playing the lottery, as players can only purchase a secret crate containing a random Legendary weapon rather than outright selecting the Legendary weapon they want. The Purveyor also won’t accept caps or Atoms for her items and will instead require a special currency called Scrip. Her new location is more easily accessible, especially for new players. Here’s where to find the Purveyor in Fallout 76 and how to purchase her wares.

Where to Find The Purveyor in Fallout 76

Purveyor Murmrgh is a mole miner, but she has no strong opinions of Vault Dwellers. She initially set up shop in the Berkeley Springs Station in the Mire, but, since the Wastelanders update, she has permanently relocated to the Rusty Pick in the ash heap region. This is a small bar to the south of Charleston that has been repurposed to accommodate Purveyor Murmrgh’s shop, the Legendary Exchange, a stash box, and a set of benches to allow for easy crafting and scrapping.

While the location itself doesn’t have very many enemies for players to contend with, it is likely to be a spot where many other players end up. Anyone who heads to the Rusty Pick should be careful of hostile opponents in the area.

To purchase from Purveyor Murmrgh, players will need to earn and save up Scrip. This is a special currency unique to the Purveyor that can be obtained by either breaking down Legendary equipment or by completing some daily quests. Players can use the Legendary Exchange at the Purveyor’s shop to get Scrip. All other train stations have one as well for easy access. Scrip can only be spent at Purveyor Murmrgh’s shop, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for players to save up for some good Legendary items.

Because players can only buy crates with random Legendary gear inside from the Purveyor, it can be hard to tell what’s worth grabbing. Typically, more expensive crates contain better or more popular items. Sometimes, during community events, Purveyor’s Mystery Pick! will be available. This option selects a three-star-grade weapon and armor item and only costs 60 Scrip. It’s the best deal a player can get from the Purveyor.

Fallout 76 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
