In one scene toward the beginning of Naughty Dog’s epic, The Last of Us Part II, a character simply puts on their shirt. This isn’t in and of itself remarkable, but as the character does so, there isn’t a single instance of clipping. The shirt just goes on. No hair flits through the fabric, shoulders don’t poke out, and it doesn’t appear like the shirt is actually floating an inch away from the character’s body. Sometimes Ellie will have to blow an enemy away with a shotgun, but with how difficult the game can be (depending on the settings that are chosen), stealth is almost always a better way to approach situations. Finding the Silenced Submachine Gun in The Last of Us Part II

This weapon is one of the best for quietly dispatching enemies when in a tight spot. If Ellie can’t line up a shot with her bow or is out of pistol silencers, the silenced submachine gun can rattle off a whole bunch of bullets quietly and effectively. Even if the player isn’t so accurate and doesn’t kill the enemy right away, there is a good chance the dozen or so bullets that are now in their body will stun them long enough to finish them off.

The player will find this weapon in the final section of the game after Ellie travels to Santa Barabara. Not long after she arrives, she will briefly be captured by the Rattlers. After a cutscene plays where Ellie gets out of the Rattlers trap, she will automatically acquire the silenced submachine gun. There is no way to miss the weapon.

The silenced submachine gun uses 20 round magazines and has a permanent silencer. It cannot be upgraded and must be equipped to the long gun holster. While players can only use it in the final stage through their first play-through, it can be used throughout new game plus mode.
