A new Candyman movie is on its way to theaters this summer, but here’s where interested viewers can stream the prior three films online right now. It still remains unclear exactly how original Candyman star Tony Todd will figure into the upcoming Jordan Peele-produced, Nia DaCosta-directed film, but the presence of returning characters from director Bernard Rose’s 1992 classic in the trailers ensures that this won’t be a total reboot of the franchise. Watchmen‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as a man who looks likely to become Candyman’s successor.

While the new Candyman implores viewers to say his name, say his name in June, that still leaves plenty of time to re-watch – or watch for the first time – the original Candyman film, or its two sequels. Candyman‘s follow-ups might not be as good as his initial outing, but Tony Todd still plays the titular character with relish, and his performances make both sequels worth watching at least once for anyone who’s happy to be the Candyman’s victim again.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Scream Factory has released two quite nice special edition Blu-Rays of the first two Candyman movies, but for those who’d prefer to stream their Candyman fix, all three installments are currently available on popular services. Here’s where those sweets to the sweet can be found.

How to Watch Candyman Online

1992’s original Candyman, a true masterpiece of the slasher genre, is now available to stream on Netflix. It can also be rented for $3.99 (Amazon Video, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes, FandangoNOW, VUDU, Microsoft Store), or bought for $11.99 (YouTube, Google Play), $12.99 (Microsoft Store), or $14.99 (Amazon Video, iTunes, FandangoNOW, VUDU,).

How to Watch Candyman 2: Farewell to the Flesh Online

1995’s first Candyman sequel, Farewell to the Flesh, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime, as well as the free ad-supported streamers Tubi, Crackle, Popcornflix, and Pluto.tv. It can also be rented for $2.99 (Amazon Video, YouTube, Google Play, Microsoft Store), $3.99 ( iTunes, VUDU), or bought for $13.99 (Microsoft Store), or $14.99 (Amazon Video, YouTube, Google Play, iTunes, VUDU). How to Watch Candyman 3: Day of the Dead Online

Oddly enough, 1999’s Candyman: Day of the Dead, the most recent Candyman installment, is the entry with the least options for watching online. Thankfully, it’s at least currently streaming on Amazon Prime, and also available to watch for free on the ad-supported Roku Channel. Those without either an Amazon Prime subscription or a Roku streaming device will be limited to watching the film on the Roku Channel website though, as no other outlets offer the film for digital rental or purchase.
