These programs usually saw a documentary crew investigate a supposedly haunted location to check for signs of paranormal activity.

It’s a format that’s spawned many similiar kinds of series over the years, including the Portals To Hell TV show. Travel Channel’s Portals To Hell is presented by Jack Osbourne and paranormal investigator Katrina Weidman, with the pair touring various haunted sites like the LaLaurie Mansion in New Orleans or Pennsylvania’s Eastern State Penitentiary. Osbourne had some previous experiences with paranormal documentary shows with the likes of Haunted Highway, while Weidman for known for shows such as Paranormal State.

There’s currently no word on when a third season will arrive, or if another has even been greenlit.
