Is true-crime documentary series Shadow Of Truth on Netflix, Hulu or Prime? Long-running shows like Unsolved Mysteries or Dateline are proof that true crime shows have always been in demand, but over recent years there’s been a distinct surge in the production and popularity of true crime content. From Netflix releases like Making A Murderer and Tiger King to HBO shows like The Jinx and I’ll Be Gone In The Dark, the true crime genre has been responsible for spawning some of the most compelling series in recent memory.

The TV true crime genre is somewhat saturated with shows focusing on American criminals, but there are a number of docuseries that explore crimes committed outside the USA. Shows like The Women And The Murderer, House Of Secrets: The Burari Deaths and Don’t F*** With Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer focus on some shocking murders perpetrated in France, India and Canada, respectively. Shadow Of Truth is another docuseries that focuses on a non-American murder and captivated true crime audiences when it arrived in 2017.

Directed by Yotam Guendelman and Ari Pines, Shadow Of Truth is a four-part series that takes a deep dive into the 2006 murder case of Tair Rada – a 13-year-old Israeli girl found stabbed to death in a bathroom at her high school. Several aspects of Tair Rada’s case are explored, including the defense put forth by the lawyers of the man accused of her murder and the widespread conspiracy that one of Tair’s classmates was responsible. Here’s whether or not true crime fans can watch Shadow Of Truth with Netflix, Hulu or Prime.

Oddly enough, considering Shadow Of Truth was released by Netflix internationally, the docuseries is no longer available to watch with the streaming service. Hulu and Prime subscribers are out of luck too, as Shadow Of Truth isn’t currently listed in their libraries either. Unfortunately, the docuseries isn’t available to stream anywhere at the moment so it seems it’s one of those titles that true crime fans will have to wait for to make its way around the streaming services in future.

True crime viewers intrigued by Shadow Of Truth may also want to check out Coastal Road Killer – a similarly-themed show produced by the same team behind the Netflix documentary series. Released in 2019, Coastal Road Killer investigates a string of murders that took place in Israel in the late 1970s and early 1980s and questions whether a serial killer yet to be brought to justice could be responsible.
