Which Disney Prince Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

Everyone loves a Disney prince. While the villains might command some elements of the narrative, no one can deny that it’s the princes who are very often the heroes of the story. Whether they’re charismatic, handsome, or a bit on the sinister side, everyone has their own favorite Disney prince.

But how to decide which one is most like oneself? The zodiac can actually be very helpful in establishing which one of the many Disney princes a person is.

12 Aries – Philip

Who doesn’t love Prince Philip? He’s the paradigmatic prince. While he’s noble and chivalrous, he’s also not afraid to go riding into battle.

While other princes might balk at taking on a powerful sorceress and dragon like Maleficent, Philip does so without flinching. Like a good Aries, he’s lively, positive, and passionate, making him a perfect match for Aurora, and for any of the other Aries that might be sitting out in the audience.

11 Taurus – Li Shang

Everyone loves Li Shang. Though he starts out being a bit of an unbending taskmaster to his new recruits in the army, he eventually softens up when he starts falling for Mulan.

Like any good Taurus, he has a tough-as-nails exterior, but underneath all of the bluster of the bull there beats a heart of gold and a truly compassionate and loving soul. From the moment he appears on screen, the audience knows that he is going to be dependable and polite.

10 Gemini – Eric

There’s much to admire about Gemini. They are intelligent and fun, both things that describe Prince Eric. At the same time, they have a well-deserved reputation for not being that dependable and for an inability to see things through.

Given the fact that Eric proves so susceptible to falling under Ursula’s spell, it seems pretty clear that, even with his pretty blue eyes, you can’t always count on him.

9 Cancer – Simba

From the moment that he appears on screen, Simba commands everyone to look at him. While it might make sense for some to see him as a Leo, he actually has more in common with Cancer, especially as he gets older.

Cancers will immediately see that he is very loving, faithful, and protective, even as he is prone to bouts of self-pity and self-indulgence, for instance when he refuses to come to his senses and return to the Pride Lands until absolutely forced to it.

8 Leo – Flynn Rider

One of the key things about Leos is that they are naturally born charmers. No one who is in the same room with them can avoid falling under that magnetic leonine spell.

This is certainly true of Flynn Rider, who is himself named after Errol Flynn, one of the most dashing movie stars in film history. There’s no question that Leos will find themselves smiling in recognition as they see the effortless way with which Flynn commands the screen.

7 Virgo – Kristoff

Though Disney princes aren’t always known for their practical side, Kristoff is something of an exception to the rule. In fact, he’s quite the reluctant prince, for he really just wants to live his own life in the woods.

Because of his practical Virgo nature, he’s the perfect complement to Anna, who seems to be much more inclined to leap before she looks. As a Virgo, he is also very loyal and loving, if sometimes a bit judgy.

6 Libra – Prince Florian

As an air sign, it’s common for Libras to sometimes have their head in the clouds. They are, however, relentlessly charming and romantic, always on the lookout for love. This makes them a perfect fit for Prince Florian.

Though we only see him rarely, it’s very clear that he is one of those men who is always looking for romance, and he’s very lucky indeed that he finds it with Snow White.

5 Scorpio – Naveen

Naveen is, without a doubt, one of the straight-up most attractive animated princes that Disney has ever produced. From the moment that he appears, he commands every eye to look at him. Like every Scorpio, he seems to know the effect that he has on people, and he revels in it.

As the film goes on, he becomes ever more focused, learning responsibility and allowing himself to mature into those qualities that make Scorpios such good partners.

4 Sagittarius – Hercules

There is perhaps no prince more endearing than Hercules, who never quite becomes the confident hero that he seems to want to be. He can be a bit careless with how he deals with things, one of the defining traits of Sagittarius.

However, his Sagittarian qualities of being big-hearted and open about his feelings are things that make him appealing to both Megara and to those sitting in the audience.

3 Capricorn – Prince Charming

You have to give a man credit who, faced with the fact that his beloved has left behind only a shoe to indicate who she is, organizes a kingdom-wide hunt to find her with that slipper.

Of course, that makes sense if Prince Charming is a Capricorn, because as an earth sign, Capricorn is very practical and patient. One would have to be, in order to track down a princess based on nothing more than a shoe!

2 Aquarius – Aladdin

With buckets of charm and an uncanny ability to get himself into trouble, Aladdin is the perfect Aquarius. Given that he’s grown up on the streets, he has the independent streak that all Aquarians have, even as he is also fiercely loyal to Princess Jasmine and to his friends such as Genie and Abu.

However, he can also be more than a little stubborn, and Aquarians will undoubtedly see a little of themselves in his refusal to take advice.

1 Pisces – Beast/Prince Adam

Despite his gruff and growling exterior, there is a deep well of feeling in Beast (later revealed to be Prince Adam), and Pisces will understand why it is that he seems so willing to withdraw into himself.

Like all Pisces, Beast has a tendency to be a little self-indulgent, nursing emotional wounds rather than letting him go. However, he also has a softer side, one that makes him a natural nurturer and caretaker.
