All games in the Jackbox Party Pack series are played in different ways and so they require different playstyles and personality types in order to excel. Some games may be more attractive to particular personality types than others and players may be able to find the game that best suits them by turning to their zodiac sign.

There are now eight main entries in the Jackbox franchise, not counting the standalone games or the developer’s previous You Don’t Know Jack titles. As the holidays have come to an end, why not ring in the new year by finding your favorite Jackbox party game based on the mysterious zodiac.

Aries: Quiplash

The first zodiac sign matches up with the first Jackbox party game released separately. It was debuted as Quiplash XL, but Quiplash 2 and 3 would appear in future packs. This game is quick and easy to play, and since it’s so quick, confidence and impulse are key.

Luckily, these are traits held by Aries, who will find themselves easily able to come up with quips for the game. The game is dynamic and tight, fun competition, much like hanging out with an Aries.

Taurus: Job Job

Job Job is probably the standout game from the newest Jackbox game and it plays with the process of résumés and job interviews. Since Taurus is so goal-oriented, these are skills they likely already excel in, but, obviously, this isn’t a normal interview.

Players use the words typed by other players to make their answers. This is somewhat limiting, but Taureans are stubborn. They are also hard workers, so this challenge should be nothing and they’ll be a reliable force against the game’s water cooler host.

Gemini: Monster Seeking Monster

Gemini obviously is all about pairs and duality, plus they’re affectionate and great at exchanging ideas. In this excellent monster dating sim game Monster Seeking Monster, these are important strengths.

Contestants must partner up with other players to learn about them and gain points. There are plenty of different varieties of monsters to play as, but the key to the game is learning as much about the various date prospects as possible. A Gemini’s curiosity is a boon in this game, allowing players to learn the different monster types. Geminis will also be great at adapting their own actions to their monster’s quirks.

Cancer: Fibbage

Fibbage is another game with multiple iterations across the various Jackbox Party Packs. This game is a trivia game with a twist in which the other players get a chance to insert fake answers. The third game includes a mode called Fibbage: Enough About You, which tasks players to lie about themselves.

Cancers will find themself doing well on both ends. When looking for the right answer, their propensity for suspicion will help. Their loyalty will also help them when having to answer about their friends. But when writing their lies, their cunning nature will serve them well.

Leo: You Don’t Know Jack

Leos are the leaders of the zodiac and the Jackbox Party Pack also had its own leader. Predating the popular Jackbox series was a series of fun but difficult trivia games called You Don’t Know Jack. These games were known for their creative questions.

This game series appeared twice in Jackbox: in 1 as YDKJ 2015, and in 5 as Full Stream. The host, Cookie Masterson, hosts several other games but You Don’t Know Jack‘s humor, propensity for leadership, and creative writing will make it stand out for a Leo.

Virgo: Drawful

This Earth sign is all about the details. They have a methodical approach and have a critical eye and this serves them well in Drawful. This is another game that has variations across multiple packs.

While Virgos aren’t known for their artistic skills, like other signs, they do love finer details. The way to win in Drawful is to draw something recognizable and be able to recognize what something truly is. With Virgo’s analytical mind, they’ll excel at this. Virgos are made for Drawful, whether it’s Drawful 1 or Drawful Animate.

Libra: The Devil And The Details

Libras value good teamwork. They hate being alone, so what’s better than an entire family for company? The Devil and The Details tasks all players with completing tasks, and some can’t be solved without teamwork.

The players take the role of a demon family living in suburbia. They must all work together to accomplish goals around the house. At the end of the game, the biggest contributor is named. A Libra would fit well in these demonic suburbs.

Scorpio: Push The Button

This game is a classic take on Werewolf in which players must weed out the secret, hidden werewolves among them. This is a great place to find a Scorpio, who are led by their determination and bravery. In the game, shapeshifting aliens have infiltrated a space ship and the crew must weed them out. It’s a game of deduction on one end and deception on the other.

This game is very similar to the viral hit Among Us, but there’s far less movement in this game. Players must poke and prod each other to find the imposters. But in this game, even the aliens can pass, so nothing is for certain, which will appeal to Scorpio’s somewhat distrusting nature.

Sagittarius: Mad Verse City

Sagittarians are known for their excellent sense of humor and they can also adapt to anything on the fly. This would make them really adapt to a rap battle scenario. Fittingly, Mad Verse City is just such the game.

In the game, players are given verses to adapt and create new rap lines. They’re then must face off. Given the fact that Sagittarians are also known for their sharp wit, they should be able to produce some sick burns, making this a fun game all around.

Capricorn: Trivia Murder Party

Capricorns are calm under pressure and reasonable. However, they can also be know-it-alls. As such, a trivia game is probably best for them. And there’s no horror trivia game with higher stakes than Trivia Murder Party.

There are two Trivia Murder Party games, but they’re both quite similar. A murderer traps the contestants and forces them to play trivia. There are also harsh, tense minigames thrown in, as well. A Capricorn’s ability to stay cool under pressure is sure to serve them well in this trivia showdown, as their life is on the line.

Aquarius: Zeeple Dome

Zeeple Dome is the most unique of the Jackbox games. Most aren’t terribly interactive since they’re usually trivia or discussion games, but Zeeple Dome is more of an action game. Here, the player flicks their finger on their phone to control their “Zeeple.”

The game’s uniqueness makes it a strong parallel with the Aquarius sign. Aquarians stand apart from the rest of the zodiac and are also considered progressive and independent. There’s no better game for them than this odd-one-out game where players tackle opponents to win.

Pisces: Tee K.O.

Pisces are the artistic type and Tee K.O. is a game all about art, as the player creates slogans and artwork for T-shirts. Players can even pay to buy the shirts they made in the game.

Pisces are creative and imaginative and can also be the dreamers of the zodiac. This can surely play out in this game where the sky is the limit in terms of what the artist can create.
