Netflix has recently become one of the hottest places for new Korean Dramas as they have begun making their own exclusive series for the streaming service. Many of the K-Dramas listed on Netflix become vastly popular due to the fact that they are widely available for audiences around the world. Netflix K-Dramas are also becoming more and more unique and are slowly breaking away from some of the more popular K-Drama formulas.

Because each K-Drama has become so unique on Netflix, different dramas may appeal to different people. Here is a list of which Netflix Original K-Drama you should watch first based on your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® personality. Which K-Drama will you be watching?

10 Crash Landing On You – ISTJ

Crash Landing On You made waves in the K-Drama would when it released due to its rather unique nature. It follows a young woman who paraglides and crash lands in North Korea where an officer in the army decides to help her. This drama is perfect for those with ISTJ personality types due to the fact that the leading character also fits under this personality. He hides the South Korean woman and becomes deeply reliable as he helps her throughout the story.

9 Was It Love? – ESFP

Was It Love? is still currently airing on Netflix and is an incredibly fun watch. The story follows a single mother who dreams of being a movie producer. She got pregnant at a young age but it seems like all the boys (now men) from her youth have come back into her life and slowly get involved in the movie she is working on. The only thing is, only she knows who the father of her child is and isn’t really willing to tell. This show will appeal to those with ESFP as their type due to the fact that it is just so fun and entertaining. The show is utterly captivating and filled with others who share the ESFP personality.

8 It’s Okay To Not Be Okay – ISFP

This drama focuses a lot on mental illnesses as it revolves around a psychiatric hospital. Ko Moon-Young is a famous children’s book author and creates haunting tails that are loved by many. She would make the perfect ISFP and since the series takes elements from her books to tell her story, along with Moon Gang-Tae (the male lead), it is only fitting that this story reaches out to those with the ISFP personality type, also often known as the Artists.

7 Mystic Pop-up Bar – ESTP

Wol Joo runs a pop-up bar dedicated to helping those in need to solve any serious ailments as a punishment for a crime that she committed nearly 500 years ago. Though this may seem kind-hearted, Wol Joo is as feisty as they come and is trying to rush to the finish line of helping 100,000 souls in order to move on and get reincarnated.

This drama is perfect for any ESTP because Wol Joo herself definitely fits that personality type. She is definitely the Entrepreneur and is easily able to read people, even if her methods are a little aggressive at times.

6 Romance Is A Bonus Book – ESFJ

Romance Is A Bonus Book is one of the most wholesome K-Dramas on Netflix. It follows a middle-aged divorcee and mom, Kang Dan-I, who has been a stay at home mom for nearly 15 years, and because of this, has a really hard time getting back into the workforce. After her husband bails, and her daughter is sent off to a really elite boarding school, Dan-I finds herself out of a home until her best friend and esteemed book publisher Cha Eun-Ho, is in need of a new housekeeper and unknowingly hires her. Eun-Ho has had the biggest crush on Dan-I and their lives slowly become more and more entangled. Because of the characters in this show, it definitely will appeal to ESFJs. Everyone in this show, even the more minor characters, are social and caring, always eager to help, and just wants the others to succeed.

5 Itaewon Class – ISTP

This drama is perfect for any ISTP due to the fact that show feels like it could be focused on a number of characters who may have the same personality type. The lead character, Park Sae-Ro-Yi is an ex-con, but still has a dream of running his own successful restaurant in the Itaewon district. He is incredibly ambitious but often comes off as pretty shy. He proves time and time again that he likes to be hands-on, much like that of an ISTP, and seems like he can fix just about anything he sets his mind to. Instead of fixing broken things like the typical ISTP, he hires broken people to help aid him in the business because he understands that everyone needs a second chance.

4 My First First Love – ENFP

My First First Love is about a group of five friends that all come to live with one another due to their individual circumstances. Because they’re all sharing close proximities now, some interesting developments begin to occur between their romances and friendships.

This show is perfect for any ENFP due to the characters’ free-spirited nature and their ability to just have fun in different situations. They’re incredibly enthusiastic and always seem to have a reason to smile.

3 When The Camellia Blooms – INFP

This drama, similar to Romance is a Bonus Book and Was It Love?, is about a single mother who seems to get scrutinized for her status as a single mom while running a bar. A do-gooder police officer meets her and seems to instantly fall for her, defending her time and time again. This drama is perfect for INFPs due to the fact that the police officer is utterly kind and always eager to help like that of an INFP. The single mom also resembles an INFP in that she comes off as a bit quiet and shy at first but opens up once she realizes she can be herself around him.

2 Abyss – ENTP

This drama is perfect for those with an ENTP personality type because of all the twists and turns this story takes on. Two close friends awaken into their “true bodies” that look totally different from their former selves after they die due to a magical orb called Abyss. The complicated part is figuring out how to solve the leading woman’s, Go Se-Yeon, murder while in a new body, unable to convince anyone she knew prior that it’s her. This drama is filled with crime, romance, mystery, and pretty complex situations that will make an ENTP excited to see the results.

1 Love Alarm – ISFJ

Love Alarm makes for a really good ISFJ due to the fact that the main three characters (who happen to be in a pretty intense love triangle with one another) all go to great lengths to defend one another. The leading girl, Kim Jo-Jo, does everything she can to protect her boyfriend, Hwang Sun-Oh, including breaking up with him in order to protect both of their hearts, which she assumes will hurt later one. Lee Hye-Yeong protects both Jo-Jo and Sun-Oh by putting their feelings before his. He has had feelings for Jo-Jo much longer than Sun-Oh has even known her yet he stands in the background. Later in the season, he seems to jump to her aid whenever she needs it. The three of them rather protect each other than themselves and are always ready to defend and protect their loved ones.
