Who is Jackass Forever’s new best stunt performer, Poopies? While Jackass Forever’s brilliance is about seeing the original Jackass crew back together another ten years later, the new crew is a highlight. They take over some of the more challenging stunts and bring a raw naivety that changes the Jackass dynamic entirely. With Bam Margera fired and Ryan Dunn having sadly passed, there is a hole in the cast but the new faces step up admirably.

Alongside Poopies, who is easily the stand-out, the Jackass newbies are Jasper Dolphin, Compston “Darkshark” Wilson (Jasper’s father), Eric Manaka, Rachel Wolfson, and Zach Holmes. They take on roles of varying prominence, with each given at least one big stunt of their own, and the final milk chugging/ paintball war set-piece including almost all. They’re an interesting group who adorably seem astonished to even have the chance to run shoulders (and squashed penises) with the Jackass OGs.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

While the new Jackass Forever stunt performers all bring something, Poopies makes the biggest mark. Partly thanks to his obliviousness, partly thanks to his Chris Pontius-like gameness, he’s great whenever he’s on screen and it’s remarkable that he will largely have just come out of nowhere for most viewers.

Where Poopies Is Known From Before Jackass Forever

This isn’t Poopies’ first rodeo with Jackass. He appeared on Jackass Shark Week and became the first person in history to be attacked by a shark during filmmaking. A heady accolade. During a stunt called “jumping the shark,” Poopies tried to jump a pod of Caribbean reef sharks on a wakeboard, but came up short and was bitten on the hand by one of the fish. The bite left him with a badly damaged tendon and two severed arteries in his hand.

Prior to becoming an instant Jackass legend, Poopies was part of Jamie O’Brien’s Redbull surfing series Who is Job, a spin-off of his self-made hour-long movie that drew significant attention from the extreme sports community. Poopies made a name for himself with the same commitment to pranks that had made him a Jackass fan from his youngest years. It’s little surprise that his trajectory would make him one of the Jackass Forever cast eventually.

How Jackass Forever’s Poopies Got His Name

Poopies real name is, in fact, Sean McInerney and he fittingly earned his name thanks to Jackass. While watching it with friends, as he related in an interview with Stab Magazine, he announced he needed the bathroom. Convinced by his friends to put on a Gorilla mask and poop in the middle of an intersection, he was arrested and instantly earned the nickname “Poopies.” Such is the nickname’s success that he’s not even referred to by his real name in Jackass Forever. If Jackass 5 or a series revival is to come after the fourth movie, Poopies needs to return in a big way.
