Loki introduced some interesting characters in its first episode, among those Miss Minutes, the Time Variance Authority’s mascot, but who voices this peculiar character? The Marvel Cinematic Universe reached its peak with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and now that the Infinity Saga is officially over, this universe is ready to move forward with its highly-anticipated Phase 4. This new wave not only covers movies but also TV shows, and kicking off Phase 4 were the TV shows WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Before Phase 4 can jump to the movie side of this universe with Black Widow, viewers are reuniting with the God of Mischief in the TV series Loki. As the 2012 version of the character escaped with the Tesseract during the time heist in Avengers: Endgame, Loki will see him being brought to the TVA, an organization that monitors the timeline and which will take advantage of Loki’s abilities to send him on a mission to face a dangerous threat. The first episode of Loki focused mostly on getting viewers (and Loki himself) acquainted with the TVA, its headquarters, and how everything works there, and for that, the show counted on the help of Miss Minutes.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The TVA has its own mascot and it’s the cartoon clock Miss Minutes, who appeared in the first episode to explain (in a fun animated video) the Multiverse and the TVA’s origins in a dynamic and easy way. This first appearance of Miss Minutes in Loki was fun and quite educational as it explained the origin of the MCU’s multiverse, but it also raised the question of who is the voice behind this unique character. Miss Minutes is voiced by actress Tara Strong, who is no stranger to the Marvel Universe and also has connections to DC Comics.

Tara Strong has a long list of voice acting credits to her name, including titles from both Marvel and DC. On DC Comics’ side, Strong has voiced characters in TV shows like The New BatmanAdventures, Teen Titans, Justice League, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, Teen Titans Go!, and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. On Marvel’s side, and way before Loki and the MCU, she took part in TV shows like X-Men, Wolverine and the X-Men,Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and Guardians of the Galaxy. Strong’s works haven’t been limited to the realm of superheroes, and she has also voiced characters in popular cartoons like Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls (as Bubbles), Rugrats (Dil Pickles), and The Fairly Oddparents (Timmy Turner).

Miss Minutes made quite a first impression in Loki, and at this point, it’s unknown if she will return and what her role will be beyond providing information about the TVA and more. However, as Miss Minutes was included in one of the posters, it’s possible there will be more to see and learn from her, as pretty much anything can happen in a show like Loki.
