90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’s Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween are still at odds with his ex-wife and some viewers think he shouldn’t have scolded his partner. The couple met through social media and, despite Bilal’s reluctance, the two quickly fell in love. Within a week of visiting Shaeeda in Trinidad and Tobago, he proposed. The 37-year-old graciously accepted, only to be swindled on her first day in America.

A dry prankster, condescending, and a lecturer is often how most describe Bilal. Meanwhile, his counterpart is more laid back and empathetic to her new family. However, there was one person in Bilal’s life who also believed her opinion was important, his ex-wife, Shahidah Salaam. While in the couple’s home, 90 Day Fiancé’s Shahidah questioned Shaeeda about her true intentions. Shaeeda described their interaction as “hostile,” and at the Tell-All, their relationship hadn’t changed. After their shocking confrontation in public, Bilal grew distant from Shaeeda because he didn’t agree with her actions.

Although Shahidah was the one towering over Shaeeda and claiming “East San Diego will be up in here,” after refusing to apologize, Bilal felt his wife’s actions caused the situation to escalate. On the way home he was silent and even confessed to the cameras that he was “like so, so angry,” and that’s nervous he might say something he’ll regret. To make amends, Shaeeda brought Bilal breakfast in bed, where he continued to scold her for her actions. Claiming that she needed to learn that “it could be somebody else tomorrow” so she “cannot let other people dictate her behavior.”

A teary 90 Day Fiancé‘s Shaeeda professed she felt she did nothing wrong, which most viewers agree with. In the previous episode, Shaeeda stayed in her seat, even as Shahidah raised over her and told Bilal it was “going to get real left, real quick.” Their meeting in season 9 was similar as well. Shahidah has been the one to instigate and escalate the situation, while Bilal watches the scene play out. Unfortunately, it seems Bilal is continuing his same narcissistic behavior as Shaeeda struggles to adjust.

In the end, the couple talked it through and moved past it. Shaeeda apologized and even offered to extend her apologies to his ex-wife. Although they seemed to end the show on better terms, the previews reveal 90 Day Fiancé’s Bilal strong hesitancy towards having more children, and viewers are eager to see if the couple will be extending their family on the future episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?.
