The conservative parents have been a rock for their entire family during these trying times, but fans think that Jim Bob and Michelle may be trying to escape reality with the festivities.

The large Duggar party was quite crowded, even amid a new COVID-19 variant. The festivities included music, playing with drones, and pizza. TLC followers were floored to see that Duggars was in a celebratory mood at all and thought the party was in poor taste.

As stated, Josh, who is 33, was found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography on December 9. He is awaiting sentencing. The judge has put the former star in solitary confinement, and he faces up to 20 years behind bars. Noticeably missing from the party was Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar. The mother of seven has reportedly decided to stand by her disgraced husband. Overall, Counting On viewers felt as if the Duggars could have held off on throwing a party since this year hasn’t been an easy one for them.
