Lindsay Hubbard of Summer House met Jason Cameron on the spin-off series Winter House, and it is apparent that they are very compatible with each other. Lindsay first came into the house hoping to explore a relationship with Austen Kroll, but he was already enamored with Ciara Miller and quickly friend-zoned Lindsay. Surprisingly, Lindsay took the rejection pretty well and it seemed she was resigned to spend the rest of her time in Vermont single, but Jason had other ideas.

Jason was first smitten by Gabrielle Kniery, but she had her eyes on Luke Gulbranson. Jason shrugged it off, and quickly set his sights on Lindsay. Although it may seem to viewers that Lindsay and Jason were each other’s consolation prize, their relationship had a very natural, easygoing chemistry. Upon meeting Lindsay, Jason described her as scary, but he also found her intriguing. Jason then went on to say that he loves strong women, and Lindsay is indeed strong, and a force to be reckoned with.

Jason’s laidback manner seems to compliment Lindsay’s strong personality. She has always been vocal about her needs and expectations, and her exes always fell short. Lindsay’s past relationships ended up in disaster because she and her partner weren’t compatible. Lindsay initially came into Summer House with her boyfriend Everett Weston, but fans soon witnessed their rocky relationship. The pair fought constantly, eventually splitting up after a year. Lindsay then tried to make it work with fellow co-star Carl Radke, but his inability to open up and commit caused them to eventually break up. Ex-boyfriend Stephen Traversie failed to live up to her standards, disappointing her with a mediocre dinner for her birthday.

Many of Lindsay’s exes brought out her angry side, but Jason seemed to soften her up. Not only did she gush over his physical attributes, but she also described him as “calming.” When she admitted she was terrified to be in a relationship, Jason assured her he was not going to hurt her. His friend and fellow Winter House castmate Julia McGuire confirmed he was a good person, and that “what you see is what you get.” This compliments Lindsay, who is known for her straightforward manner that doesn’t like subterfuge.

Something they share in common is that Jason was raised by his grandmother, while Lindsay’s Aunt Rhoda is her mother figure. Lindsay has also said her love language is food, and Jason quickly enamored her by feeding her a burger. He also established himself as the Winter House cook, readily making his friends breakfast and preparing a feast for their Viking-themed party. Although they claim they are just friends as of now, their chemistry is palpable and fans are rooting for them as a couple.
