On the heels of The Witcher Season 2’s Netflix premiere, a PC modder uploaded a mod allowing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt players to access Henry Cavill‘s gear. Since the TV show’s original launch in December 2019, the modding community has treated PC users to a panoply of impressive creations, one of which recently brought Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer of Vengerberg to the interactive experience.

Of course, countless other mods have found ways to creatively implement Henry Cavill’s likeness in-game; a few of them even date back to months before the Netflix series aired its pilot season. Witcher 3 fans who can’t access these types of mods need not worry, though. Last summer, developer CD Projekt Red teased plans to unleash Netflix-inspired items alongside The Witcher 3’s long-awaited PS5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrades. While specifics about the content remain under wraps, the studio hinted that armor akin to Henry Cavill’s will make the cut. Some players can experience that much and more for themselves thanks to a new Witcher 3 PC mod, however.

PC modder WitcherSeb recently uploaded a Witcher 3 mod to Nexus Mods (via GameRant) that allows players to dress their Geralt of Rivia in attire inspired by the Neftlix show. Titled “Henry Cavill Netflix Clothes,” the mod in question specifically features the TV character’s all-black plainclothes, Season 1 armor, and Wolf Medallion. See how it all comes together in the screenshots featured below:

The Henry Cavill-inspired Witcher 3: Wild Hunt mod seems simple enough to install, according to WitcherSeb’s instructions. Better still, it weighs in at a mere 9.2MB. Some players will no doubt find the creation well worth trying out.

CD Projekt Red originally released its third mainline Witcher game in May 2015 for PC and last-gen consoles. Since then, the celebrated role-playing game has also migrated to the Nintendo Switch. The Witcher 3’s success is also reflected in its impressive sales numbers. As of spring 2022, the title had moved an astronomical 30 million copies worldwide; meanwhile, the gaming franchise as a whole sits at a cumulative 50-plus million units sold. These numbers have likely received quite the boost since Netflix premiered the second season of its live-action series, which serves as an adaptation of the Andrzej Sapkowski book series.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available to play now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms; meanwhile, The Witcher TV series is streaming on Netflix.
