Hot Toys have released stunning new images of their newest deluxe figure that show Wonder Woman in her majestic golden armor from Wonder Woman 1984. Gal Gadot first appeared as the beloved Diana Prince, back in 2016’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Since then, Wonder Woman has gone on to appear in two of her own standalone features across the DCEU, most recently in 2020 with the release of Wonder Woman 1984, which followed Diana in her attempts to take down Maxwell Lord (played by Pedro Pascal), whose intense greed had led the world down a path of ultimate destruction.

While Wonder Woman’s classic red and blue suit has established itself as an iconic symbol within pop culture ever since the character’s creation in the 1940s, Wonder Woman 1984 debuted a brand new suit of armor for Gadot’s Diana. The golden suit featured an impressive set of wings and a matching helmet that echoed the appearance of an eagle in many ways and was a beautiful on-screen recreation of armor that Diana had previously worn in the comics. Wonder Woman 1984‘s costume designer even revealed that the suit took around six months to craft from start to finish, with the final result making for some stunning shots within the final cut of the film.

Currently available for pre-order on Sideshow.com, Hot Toy’s incredible sixth scale figure bears an uncanny resemblance to the Themyscira native in her golden eagle suit. Aside from the majestic armored wings, Woman Woman also comes with the Lasso of Truth (her signature weapon), as well as the suit’s matching helmet, which can be worn by the figure. Anyone looking to add this stunning piece to their collection will also receive a display stand for the figure, complete with a character nameplate. The fully-posable figure costs $360 and is expected to ship between February and March this year. Check out the images of the figure below.

This is not the first time Wonder Woman has been immortalized in figure form by Hot Toys, with a number of Diana’s on-screen appearances having previously been recreated in meticulous detail. This newest addition will likely excite many fans, as Diana’s golden armor became a huge talking point when it was first teased back in early trailers for Wonder Woman 1984. Gadot herself revealed that it “blew her mind” when she saw the costume for the first time because it was “so beautiful.

Given the hype that surrounded this costume following the release of Wonder Woman 1984, this figure is likely to be snapped up fairly quickly by those looking to add something unique and truly eye-catching to their collection. With Wonder Woman 3 currently in development, it will certainly be interesting to see what the costume designers have in mind this time around for Diana’s final battle armor. As for now, it remains to be seen whether Hot Toys have any further plans for some of the other exciting Wonder Woman 1984 characters.
