January 31st’s Wordle answer was rather tricky if players didn’t use the right combination of words right off the bat. The website changes the answer every 24 hours, and players need to guess the five-letter word in six tries or less. Once players have guessed the word, they can share their progress on social media that gives details of their attempt without spoiling the answer for others. 

Wordle‘s rules are fairly simple for new players to follow and only requires a smartphone or a device with a browser to participate. Players get six attempts to guess today’s Wordle answer, and it can get frustrating if players don’t start with the right word. Witch each attempt; boxes will turn green or yellow depending on the words used. If a letter turns green, that means that a particular letter is being used in today’s answer and is in the correct spot. However, if the letter turns yellow, it signifies that the letter is being used in the answer but is not in the right spot. If the box does not change to either of the two colors, it means the letter is not being used in today’s answer. 

Once players are done guessing today’s Wordle answer, they can share their progress with the rest of the world on social media. Players can click on the ‘Share’ button, which copies color-coded boxes and the number of attempts to the player’s clipboard. They can then simply paste the text and color-coded emojis to any social networking platform. The text and the emojis let other players know how close a player was to solving today’s Wordle answer.

Wordle 226 Answer (January 31)

The Wordle answer for January 31st is ‘LIGHT.’ Light is a natural agent that makes things visible and stimulates sight. It is also used to describe objects that aren’t bulky or heavy to carry. 

When trying to guess today’s Wordle answer, we first used the word ‘SIGHT’ and got three letters in the correct position when the Wordle boxes turned green. Then, building on the previous word, we used the word ‘MIGHT’ as we only needed to get one more letter correct. However, since the letter ‘M’ was not in today’s answer, it was logical to use ‘LIGHT’ as the next word.
