On Tuesday, former “Worst Cook in America” and ex-middle school teacher Ari Robinson was arrested with her husband on charges of homicide. The victim, tragically, was the couple’s three-year-old foster child. In response to the heinous allegations and ongoing investigation, the Food Network has apparently decided to pull “everything” season 20-related.

Season 20 of Worst Cooks in America was filmed on the eve of the pandemic in February 2020 and aired later that year. Throughout the season, fans came to love the former teacher and eventual winner from South Carolina, Ari Robinson. She won $25,000 for her culinary ineptitude and seemed set to parlay her 15 minutes of fame into a full-time entertainment career. In addition to her budding career as a personality, Ari and her husband Jerry were also growing a family. Already the parents of two, they welcomed three foster children to their home in Simpsonville, South Carolina, in March 2020. According to all reports on social media and from family, everything appeared to be going well on the surface. That only added to the shock when, earlier this month, one of the Robinson’s foster children, a three-year-old girl, was found dead in their home. The local coroner ruled the cause of death to be blunt force trauma, and police later arrested Ari and Jerry under suspicion of homicide. Upon learning of the arrest, the Food Network acted near-immediately and began wiping their library clean of anyone and anything associated with the gruesome crime.

In a thread posted the same day Ari’s arrest was made public, Reddit user u/CorePhilosophies reported that “Food Network has pulled out everything Worst Cooks in America Season 20 related content.” The user went on to claim that the season was removed from Food Network GO, Discovery+, and that anything referencing the season was scrubbed from the Food Network’s official website. Reportedly, The Food Network even went as far as to remove an episode of the spin-off show Dirty Dishes, where former cast members reacted to an episode featuring Ari. Commenters on the Reddit thread mostly related their sorrow for the tragedy. These comments reflect the current state of the tragedy: the crime has been already been committed and the perpetrators have already been arrested. Expressing sorrow is all there is left to do.

Fans expect a statement from the network about the arrest, though The Food Network’s Twitter and Facebook pages have remained mum on the subject as of this writing. Whether they give a statement or not, actions always speak louder than words.

ScreenRant can confirm that season 20 content is not available on Discovery+, Hulu, or The Food Network’s YouTube page, though it is unclear if the season was on all these platforms pre-scandal. It does not appear that the Food Network has pulled “everything” season 20 related as episode summaries are still available on the official website. Also, for Sling TV subscribers, there is one episode of the season available to stream on-demand. Fully wiping the slate clean may take some time, but the effort is commendable. Unwilling to glorify an accused child abuser, the Food Network is wiping their history clean Ari Robinson and season 20 of Worst Cooks in America.
