No matter which Covenant a player selects for their character in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, any character can traverse the four new realms of the Shadowlands and participate in activities there. Often, activities like killing rare enemies in these zones can earn players rare and valuable loot, including some of the best mounts. One of the realms in the Shadowlands is Ardenweald, and this location is controlled by the Night Fae Covenant. The Night Fae are considered Guardians of the Cycle of Life and Death in nature, which sets them apart from the Kyrians who deal more with the souls of humans and humanoid creatures.

In Ardenweald, players will find a set of five treasure chests they can reach and loot. What makes these chests stand out from others is their locations: each chest appears overhead on rocks or trees and are not accessible without a little help. Players will need to use a Bounding Shroom, which acts as a bounce pad, to reach it. Here’s how to find the location of each Faerie Stash chest and how to reach them all in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Faerie Stash Treasure Locations in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

Players will find five Faerie Stashes in Ardenweald, each concentrated to one of the five zones in the realm. Typically, the Stashes in Star Lake Amphitheater, Dreamsong Fenn, and Furrowed Glen will appear on rock formations above ground. The Stashes at the Shrouded Mire and Darkreach will appear in trees.

The exact position of the Stash can vary for different players at different times, but in general, there are some coordinates players can use to get close enough to see the stash and its associated Bounding Shroom. The locations and approximate coordinates for each treasure chest and Bounding Shroom appear below:

  • Star Lake Amphitheater:Faerie Stash: 41.35, 44.77Bounding Shroom: 39.90, 43.68
  • Darkreach:Faerie Stash: 42.50, 66.86Bounding Shroom: 42.77, 66.16
  • Dreamsong Fenn:Faerie Stash: 32.76, 29.97Bounding Shroom: 32.71, 29.78
  • Furrowed Glen:Faerie Stash: 42.53, 21.83Bounding Shroom: 43.53, 22.90
  • Shrouded Mire:Faerie Stash: 65.34, 23.51Bounding Shroom: 64.66, 23.38

To use the Bounding Shroom, players only need to step on it. It will launch their character into the air and allow them to float back down, aiming for the rock or tree formation holding the treasure.

Players do not have to use the Bounding Shrooms. Instead, they can enter Hibernal Hollow and find a basket of Faerie Powder. They can use this and double jump to be able to fly for approximately two minutes, as long as they don’t touch the ground or interact with the environment.

Most of the rewards from the treasure chests are random drops. Typically, the player will find Gold. Sometimes, they will also find useful items.

After finding all five Faerie Stashes, players can also try their hand at beating the Humon’gozz Rare enemy mob. This is located fairly close to the Dreamsong Fenn stash, and defeating this mob will award players the Arboreal Gulper mount.
