Here’s a guide to every song featured on the soundtrack of animated hit Wreck-It Ralph. Released in 2012, Wreck-It Ralph follows the title character, the villain of popular arcade game Fix-It Felix Jr. Ralph longs to reinvent himself as a hero instead, but his journey ends up causing mayhem at his arcade. He also befriends Vanellope von Schweetz, a racer from the Sugar Rush arcade game. Wreck-It Ralph proved to be a big hit upon release, receiving great reviews for its performances – with John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman voicing Ralph and Venellope respectively – in addition to its witty screenplay and impressive visuals.
It was enough of a success to spawn a 2018 sequel, with Ralph Breaks The Internet featuring Ralph and Venellope getting pulled into an internet-related misadventure. The follow-up was quite well received critically, while new characters to the franchise were voiced by the likes of Gal Gadot and Taraji P. Henson. Wreck-It Ralph 2 earned even more than the original too, but despite this, there no concrete plans for a third installment.
The Wreck-It Ralph score was composed by Henry Jackman (The Predator), with the movie’s official soundtrack consisting of his music and tracks from popular artists. Here’s a rundown of every song featured on the album.

In addition to Henry Jackman’s compositions, the various Wreck-It Ralph theme songs feature hits like “Shut And Drive” by Rihanna – which is a little surprising given the subtext of its lyrics – and “Celebration” by Kool & The Gang. Not only did Skrillex contribute a track with “Bug Hunt (Noisa Remix)” he also camoed in Wreck-It Ralph as himself. The Owl City Wreck-It Ralph original song “When Can I See You Again?” was written especially for the film, while Japanese idol group AKB48 sang the “Sugar Rush” song.
The Wreck-It Ralph soundtrack proved to be a good blend of catchy songs and original compositions. The sequel’s soundtrack also featured some tracks like “Zero” from Imagine Dragons – which plays over Ralph Breaks The Internet end credits – and “A Place Called Slaughter Race,” performed in character by stars Sarah Silverman and Gal Gadot.
