Young Justice: Outsiders Voice Cast & Character Guide

Young Justice season 3, titled Young Justice: Outsiders, requires a substantial breakdown to profile its all-star cast. After six years and countless petitions, season 3 of Young Justice, about a team of teenage superheroes, is finally ready for broadcast. Canceled by Cartoon Network because its intelligent writing and complex storyline was better suited toward young adults than the children it was meant to attract, the show has found a new home on DC Universe and will feature a darker storyline than previous seasons.

Young Justice: Outsiders will center upon a new team (presumably the Outsiders) being formed to combat the scourge of metahuman trafficking. The exact details of Young Justice: Outsiders have been kept secret by DC Universe, but it’s known that several heroes will quit the Justice League over the team’s refusal to tackle the issue directly and publicly. This will led to the creation of a new group that will focus on rescuing children who are being kidnapped with the intention of turning them into biological weapons for the highest bidder.

Beyond that, we know that Young Justice: Outsiders will see a number of changes from the status quo in season 2, with the young heroes making up the world’s first teenage superhero team moving into new roles and taking on new responsibilities. Young Justice‘s original cast have all returned, along with several new all-star voice actors who are guaranteed to make season 3 worth the long wait. Main Cast Of Young Justice: Outsiders

Jesse McCartney is Dick Grayson/Nightwing: An Emmy-nominated actor and singer, most recently seen as Reed on Fear the Walking Dead, Jess McCartney returns to voice Dick Grayson – the first Robin who now uses the code-name Nightwing. The new season will see Nightwing leading the effort to stop the trafficking of metahuman children.

Danica McKellar is M’gann M’orzz/Miss Martian: First finding fame as Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, Danica McKellar later went on to play Elsie Snuffin on The West Wing and has also starred in several Christmas movies made for the Hallmark Channel. She returns to provide the voice of Miss Martian – a member of the generally vicious White Martian race, who sought to use her telepathic and shape-shifting abilities to help others while masquerading as the Martian Manhunter’s niece.

Nolan North is Conner Kent/Superboy: One of the most popular voice actors working today, Nolan North is widely considered to be the definitive voice of Deadpool, having played Wade Wilson in seven video games (including the 2013 Deadpool game) and the animated film Hulk Vs. He is also well known for voicing Nathan Drake in the Uncharted games and Desmond Miles in the first five Assassin’s Creed games. North returns as Superboy – a Kryptonian/human hybrid cloned from Superman – who will start the new season as a full-fledged member of the Justice League.

Stephanie Lemelin is Artemis Crock/Tigress: Another prolific voice actor who has played dozens of characters in cartoons and video games, Stephanie Lemelin most recently lent her voice to Screwball in the Spider-Man PS4 game. She also played the role of Isabel Cruz in Fallout 4. Lemelin returns as Artemis Crock – a young woman who rejected the teachings of her assassin parents to become a hero. A master of multiple weapons and martial arts (though she favors the bow), the new season will see her returning to vigilantism after retiring for a time after the apparent death of her boyfriend, Wally West (aka Kid Flash).

Khary Payton is Kaldur’ahm/Aquaman: Best known as the voice of Cyborg in various films, video games, and animated series (including Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!), Khary Payton is also well known for his performance as King Ezekiel on The Walking Dead. Payton returns as Kaldur’arhm – the former Aqualad, who will take his mentor’s place as Aquaman on the Justice League, as Arthur Curry retires from superheroism to focus on his duties as king of Atlantis.

Alyson Stoner is Barbara Gordon/Oracle: A quadruple threat (actress/singer/dancer/model), Alyson Stoner is well-known to fans of the Disney Channel’s pre-teen comedies, having played Max on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Caitlyn Gellar in the Camp Rock movies. She is perhaps best known for providing the voice of Isabella Garcia-Shaprio on Phineas and Ferb. She returns to voice former Batgirl, Barbara Gordon, who has taken up the role of Oracle during the time-skip between seasons 2 and 3.
