Young Sheldon‘s Montana Jordan poses with adult Georgie’s standee, which was previously featured on The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) family all appeared on the original sitcom, except for George (Lance Barber), who was already dead during the events of the series. The last one to be featured on The Big Bang Theory, however, was his eldest sibling, Georgie, who was played by Jerry O’Connell.

Fans knew about Georgie before he physically appeared on The Big Bang Theory, thanks to Sheldon’s stories, but he never mentioned that the oldest Cooper kid was actually a big-time entrepreneur in Texas, owning Mr. Tire, the state’s largest tire chain. Georgie’s Big Bang Theory cameo came late in season 11, just before Sheldon got married to Amy (Mayim Bialik). His mother, Mary (Laurie Metcalf), wanted all of her kids to be present during the ceremony, but Georgie initially refused, having harbored a grudge against his little brother for years. Luckily, they moved past that.

Now, Georgie is played by Jordan on Young Sheldon, and the prequel series has recently been laying the groundwork for his future as a successful businessman. But, in a fun photo shared by Missy actor Raegan Revord, in celebration of her co-star’s birthday, the actor poses with the Mr. Tire standee that fans first saw on The Big Bang Theory. As Young Sheldon season 5 enters its final stretch, CBS has noticeably put more focus on Georgie. After dropping out of school, he’s been managing Meemaw’s (Annie Potts) laundromat/gambling den. Aside from that, his love life is also thriving as he begins a new relationship with Mandy (Emily Osment). There’s one problem with their tryst, however – Georgie lied about his real age to convince her to date a much younger guy like him. It’s uncertain what will come out of it, but the truth will come out, sooner or later.

Admittedly, fans would’ve wanted to see more interactions between Sheldon and Georgie on The Big Bang Theory. But, since O’Connell’s appearance came late into the show’s 12-year-run, there just weren’t enough opportunities for the brothers to bond after they patched things up. For now, viewers can see them together on Young Sheldon, although the pair also have limited interactions in the prequel spinoff — something that could hopefully change in the future.
