Yu-Gi-Oh! Vs. DC: Who Would Win – Yugi Muto Vs. Wonder Woman?

Wonder Woman is one of the strongest heroes in the entire DC Universe. She’s incredibly powerful, has a huge array of abilities at her disposal, and can take hits on par with someone like Superman. There are few that can stand against her incredible might.

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, Yugi is the strongest duelist of all time. He has an incredibly powerful deck that has taken on evil time and again and won. If the two were ever to face off against one another in a hypothetical battle, who would take the win, and who would be defeated?

10 Yugi: He Has A Card For Everything

Whether it is to save the entire world or win a tournament, Yugi has a card for literally any scenario that he finds himself in. His spells, traps, and monsters in Battle City, for example, exemplified this. Cards like Ragnarok had no place in anyone’s deck but existed in Yugi’s specifically to take down Marik’s Winged Dragon of Ra, a card that should be near indestructible. Yugi always has an answer.

9 Wonder Woman: Her Speed

Wonder Woman is far faster than any human, and this is going to be a major factor in her fight against Yugi. In order to take Diana on, Yugi will need to be able to place cards on his duel disk quickly.

Diana will be able to stop him if she has a clear shot at him. In order to stay in this battle, Yugi is going to always need a card on the field to protect him just so he can get his next one out.

8 Yugi: His Powerful Spell Cards

Yugi’s spell cards are very strong and will be a huge boon to him in a fight with Wonder Woman. Cards like Swords of Revealing Light can even help to keep Wonder Woman at bay while he comes up with new strategies.

Multiply is another card that can greatly benefit Yugi. This card will swarm the battlefield with Kuribohs that will keep generating and force Wonder Woman to switch up her strategy. Defense is going to be a huge one for Yugi when it comes to this battle.

7 Wonder Woman: She’s Resistant To Magic

Wonder Woman has always had a resistance to magic in the comics, and that’s part of the benefits that she gained when she was sculpted from clay by the gods. With this in mind, Yugi is at a huge disadvantage in this battle. Most of his powerful monsters, especially ones that shined in Battle City such as Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, are spellcasters. While they won’t be worthless in the fight, he’s going to need to switch up his monster cards pretty heavily.

6 Yugi: His Powerful Trap Cards

Yugi’s trap cards are going to be another powerful asset for him in the fight against Wonder Woman. Cards like Mirror Force and Magic Cylinder will send her attacks coming right back at her. As Wonder Woman hits incredibly hard, she’s going to end up contending with her own power if she isn’t careful with how she handles Yugi. She needs to make sure that every attack that she launches isn’t going to come back to bite her.

5 Wonder Woman: Her Bracelets

Wonder Woman’s bracelets allow her the ability to send opponents flying across the battlefield with massive blasts that very few are able to stand against, and Yugi is absolutely not an exception to this key ability.

While cards like Multiply will help Yugi withstand these blasts, they’re not going to keep him safe forever. He needs to win the battle quickly before Diana has the chance to launch too many of these. They can even be used for defense if need be, like in the Doomsday fight from Batman V. Superman.

4 Yugi: Monster Reborn

Monster Reborn is a card that allows Yugi to bring his fallen monsters back from the graveyard. This presents a problem for Diana, as she will need to take down Yugi’s monsters again and again if Yugi is able to continually activate this card. She needs to take this card away from Yugi as fast as possible if she wants to even have a chance of defeating him in their battle.

3 Wonder Woman: Her Flight

As seen in Wonder Woman 1984, Wonder Woman does have the ability to fly. This can come in handy for Wonder Woman in this battle, as, if Yugi isn’t paying attention closely enough, she can simply fly over his monsters to take him out directly, ending the fight before it has even begun. This is a power that Yugi has to be on very high alert for if he hopes to stand even a small chance against her.

2 Yugi: His Warrior Monsters

While Yugi specializes in spellcaster-type monsters, he does use warriors, as well. His Celtic Guard monsters are a few that he uses consistently throughout the anime.

Wonder Woman can be struck down with blades, this has been seen in the comics before. While these monsters aren’t Yugi’s strongest, they’re going to have an advantage against her.

1 Wonder Woman: She’s Too Strong

Overall, Wonder Woman is just too strong for Yugi. She’s too fast, she’s too powerful, and she has too many strong abilities that Yugi isn’t going to be able to counter. He doesn’t have the monsters, spells, or trap cards to win. While Yugi might be able to stand his ground for some time, he’s not going to be able to take the win against someone with the power that Wonder Woman holds.
