Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story is a horror anthology series that premiered in 2011. So far, there are 11 seasons of the series and it has been renewed for at least two  more, so we’re pretty excited that we have more spooky seasons to enjoy and theorize about. The best part of the show being an anthology series is that viewers can pick and choose the seasons that interest them or watch all of them in whatever order they want. Although there may be connections between each season, they each have their own unique plot and storyline.

But if you’ve watched every season of American Horror Story and you’re looking for something new to fill the void between seasons, you know how hard it can be to find another good show that really gives us the same spooky, intriguing feeling. Luckily, there are a ton of TV shows the fit the fright bill. Keep reading…if you dare.

The series follows two FBI special agents who are in charge of a special selection of cases referred to as “X-Files” because they seem to be supernatural or paranormal in nature. Mulder is the agent that has been heading the “X-Files” department while Scully is assigned to the cases to go with him and try to find rational, scientific explanations for the things her partner investigates.

3 Channel Zero
