90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Julia Trubkina has had a bumpy road in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, and her quest for work in the United States is faced with similarly mixed responses. The Russian city girl was working as a go-go dancer when she caught the eye of her now-husband Brandon Gibbs, but Julia’s skills haven’t taken her far in Dinwiddie, Virginia. Though Julia has received permission to work in the United States, her style of dance was not what the gym she auditioned at was looking for. Nonetheless, Julia earned surprising fan praise for her moves.

Julia is one of the most polarizing cast members, as she started out as a beloved fan-favorite but quickly saw her personality nosedive when she revealed her bratty and judgmental attitude. Many viewers lost sympathy for Julia’s struggles on Brandon’s parents’ farm after it was revealed that she voluntarily took on farm work. However, the dancer is currently looking for a job in the United States in a move to be more mature and financially independent in a new country. Unfortunately, Julia did not quite understand what she was auditioning for when she booked a job interview for a weight-training dance instructor in Sunday night’s new episode. The brunette beauty memorably pulled out a pair of high heels during the audition, which has earned some laughter from franchise fans though she was also widely praised.

Many commenters noted that Julia shocked at her audition with her risqué dance moves but that she was skilled as a dancer. “YAASSSSSS JULIA …I WOULD GO TO HER CLASS!!!” one enthusiastic fan wrote. Though Julia’s style of dance wouldn’t make sense for a weight-training class, others noted that pole dancing classes are quite popular and Julia would make an amazing instructor. “There’s tons of women that would take a ‘strip’ type class. Whether it just be for their husband or just to feel sexy. I’d definitely take her class,” another woman agreed. Others shared that Brandon should have clarified the type of dancing to Julia so that she was prepared for her audition.

While viewers appeared in agreement that Julia was good at dancing, some found the scene to be cringe-worthy. “Omg how embarrassing!!” one commenter noted. “I couldn’t make it more than 30 seconds watching this!!” another commenter chimed in. “I was so embarrassed for her! Some viewers have shared that Julia should pursue her dream of moving to Vegas, just as 90 Day Fiancé original cast member Paola Mayfield chose to go to Miami and have her husband Russ follow. Julia has expressed on many occasions that she is very unhappy with farm life and the city girl clearly felt far happier in Vegas. Though Brandon said moving there was out of their budget, viewers think appearing on the show has opened many lines of revenue for the couple who can earn money on Cameo and social media. Viewers agree that Julia would be a successful dancer in Las Vegas and that she should profit off of her 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fame and build the life she wants.
