Season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is starting to feel like the season that will never end, and though there’s indication that the finale and Tell All part 1 will air on April 3, it won’t be what fans are expecting. Instead of making viewers sit through three more weeks of season 5, the network has come up with something new and different, and it could change the format of 90 Day Fiancé franchise shows from now on.

There was a lot of anticipation for Before the 90 Days season 5, and viewers were not disappointed. The cast members have been extremely entertaining and exceptionally wild this season, and there’s been a lot for fans to discuss online. The season has been fun, but it has to end sometime, and many viewers have been wondering when it would conclude. A lot of fans assumed that episode 15 would be the last, and it would then be followed by two Tell All episodes in the next two weeks. However, once episode 15 ended, the teaser for the next episode played over the credits—and it wasn’t for the Tell-All. So viewers are once again wondering, when is season 5 going to end?

There’s some confusion between various TV listings sites about when the final episode is and when the Tell-All is, but TLC’s tv schedule sheds light on the end of the season. Next week episode 16, “Unfinished Business,” is on the schedule for 8 PM Eastern. The description teases wrap ups for Usman Umar and Kim Menzies; Ben Rathbun and Mahogany Roca; Mike Berk and Ximena Morales; Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda; and Memphis Sandoval and Hamza Moknii’s storylines. There was no mention of Ella Johnson and Johnny Chao, so presumably their storyline is done. However, that episode seems to only go until 9 p.m. The “Tell All Part 1” is slated to air directly after episode 16, and if TLC’s schedule is accurate, fans will be getting a half-size final episode and a 1-hour Tell All Part 1.

This format is something new for the franchise, and it could be a smart move. There are certainly some loose ends to tie up in season 5, but definitely not enough for an entire episode’s worth of content. The same goes for the Tell All. Many fans have criticized just how long the Tell Alls are because while there’s certainly a lot to unpack, there usually isn’t the need for two full two-hour episodes devoted to it. By combining episode 16 and the first half of the Before the 90 Days Tell All, TLC has streamlined both of them, and there’s no need to stretch footage to fill an entire episode. Now viewers will get the last bits of season five plus some Tell All footage before the full Tell All Part 2 episode on April 10.

Though some fans were hoping that the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days would be the season finale, there’s still a little more left. However, if TLC’s TV schedule is correct, the format for the last episode and first half of the Tell All could be a big improvement over previous seasons in the franchise.
