Below Deck Med Season 6: Everything To Know About 2nd Stew Lexi Wilson

Lexi Wilson will be joining Below Deck Med season six as the show’s new second stew and we’re about to share plenty of juicy details about her life. Last season, Bugsy Drake originally had the role. She was later replaced by Aesha Scott when Aesha was promoted to chief stew. Bugsy took on the chief stew role after Hannah Ferrier was fired for having unregistered Valium and a vape pen. While the new trailer does involve some drama between the crew, it doesn’t seem like any of the crew was sent packing.

The new trailer dropped last week after months of anticipation. Fans really want a new season of the Bravo series. Season six will air its premiere episode on June 28, with seven new crew members, two returning crew members, and the new megayacht Lady Michelle. Captain Sandy Yawn and bosun Malia White will be returning to the Mediterranean following a tumultuous season five. Fans who are curious about the new crew members, including Chef Mathew Shea, should know that they are deckhands David Pascoe, Mzi “Zee” Dempers, Lloyd Spencer, chief stew Katie Flood, third stew Courtney Veale, and third stew Lexi Wilson. Captain Sandy Yawn will keep tabs on the crew.

According to Lexi’s BravoTV bio, the second stew grew up in The Bahamas but later moved to the United States for college. She came to America after receiving a scholarship for Track and Field. Besides using her athletic ability to score herself a college education, Lexi is also a former pageant queen. She represented the Bahamas in the 2013 Miss Universe pageant. However, she lost to Miss Venezuela Gabriela Isler, who took home the crown. As a result of her pageant competitions, Lexi spent most of her time in Florida, where she was introduced to the world of yachting. After meeting a yacht captain who invited her to work as a stewardess on his boat, Lexi began her career in the yachting industry. This season, Lexi will be working alongside chief stew Katie Flood and the third stew Courtney Veale on the Lady Michelle.

Even though Lexi is always one to prioritize service to the guests, she also knows how to have fun, even when she is in uniform. Lexi also manages to look glamorous whether she’s doing turndowns or ironing in the laundry room. Her @lexiwilson12 Instagram also shows how much she loves tablescapes. Several of her posts exhibit different ways you can fold a napkin for a fancy dinner party. In the new season six trailer, Lexi seems to be in the middle of the drama this season. The trailer shows her getting into a physical fight with deckhand Zee, threatening to become into a “b*tch” in front of Malia, and calling her mom about possibly leaving the vessel.

So far, Lexi is the standout on the new season of Below Deck Med. Not only does she seem to feud with Malia, but she gets into a physical altercation with one of the deckhands. Lexi also alludes to leaving the boat, similar to kitchen disaster specialist Chef Mila Kolomeitseva from season four. However this season turns out, Lexi will definitely be one of the most talked-about Below Deck Med cast members.
