Below Deck Med: What Lloyd Spencer Has Been Up To Since Season 6

Lloyd Spencer’s life has changed for the better since he appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean season 6. Viewers were introduced to Lloyd for the first time when the Bravo series aired back in June 2021. He was nervous at first about joining the boat after a rough experience on his last job. However, Lloyd quickly became comfortable with everyone on the ship and was even sad to leave them once the season was over.

During his last experience on a boat prior to the Lady Michelle, Lloyd was faced with several men on his boat calling him homophobic slurs on a daily basis. Lloyd opened up about his experience on his last boat with the Below Deck Med crew and even admitted that he is sexually fluid. No one from the crew judged him for his sexuality, something he hadn’t experienced at his previous job. Working with the team on Below Deck Med, quickly changed Lloyd’s perspective on the yachting industry.

Since finishing Below Deck Med season 6, Lloyd’s life a changed quite a bit. He was initially very quiet on social media after filming the Bravo series, but he began to open up more about his life once the season actually aired. In June 2021, Lloyd did some running safety training and sea survival in Hamburg, Germany. It is unclear what were some of the safety lessons he learned, but Lloyd did have to wear a heavy red suit. After receiving some safety training, Lloyd, who came out on TV, spent some time in Spain. However, it is unclear if he went there for a charter season or fun. After Spain, Lloyd was off to another adventure in Northern Ireland and Wales for a couple of months. In September, Lloyd revealed that he was back on another charter in Greece.

Fans got a glimpse at his new yachting job, and the photos he shared are absolutely stunning. The first picture features Lloyd posing on a tender while out at sea in Greece. “Back on Charter in Greece and loving life,” he captioned the post. Lloyd had also become very close with his crew members, joking about their reaction when he asked for a photo on the tender. Lloyd has been updating his followers on his adventures in Greece in Instagram Stories as well, admitting that he saved another boat’s crew. Besides his flourishing career, Lloyd also has a new girlfriend. He introduced her to his Instagram followers in October, but he did not tag her in the photo nor did he mention her name. Later that day, he posted a cute lunch date he and his new lucky lady had onshore in Greece.

Despite Lloyd’s experience on a boat prior to Below Deck Mediterranean season 6, he is now loving the yachting industry. Not only is he thriving as a deckhand on his new boat, but he has a new girlfriend by his side as well. It seems everything is coming up roses for Lloyd.
