Borderlands 3: How to Find (& Defeat) Evil Lilith (Psycho Krieg DLC)

In the final DLC for Borderlands 3, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, players will need to dive into the twisted world that is Psycho Krieg’s mind to collect new weapons they can bring back into the base game. They can also learn more about Krieg through his memories and by fighting the bosses in his mind. There will be crew challenges here as there usually are in Borderlands DLCs, but boss battles will need to be completed in order to move the story along.

At the end of Castle Crimson, there will be a portal that will take the player up to a boss arena. To reach it, players will have to fight the enemies they encounter along the way, and navigate a concrete area with a lot of staircases. Once players reach a ledge, they will need to look up to climb a wall. Then, they can continue to follow the stairs. Take a portal to the top, and then drop down into the hole to reach the boss battle. Here, Evil Lilith will be waiting for the player. There are two phases to this boss battle that players will need to complete in order to beat Evil Lilith.

Defeat Evil Lilith in Borderlands 3’s Psycho Krieg DLC

In phase one of Evil Lilith’s boss battle, she will teleport around the arena and attack the player. She will also have a powerful shockwave attack that she will use sparingly. When she is in the air, move as quickly as possible away from her to avoid the shockwaves. While she is trying to overwhelm the player using her flurry of attacks, she will also shoot projectiles at the player. During this attack, she will be most vulnerable. Slowly chip away at her health by dodging projectiles and firing while she is a sitting duck. Keep moving around the arena to dodge her persistent attacks. There are also chests located around the edge of the arena containing ammo that players can take advantage of while Lilith is recovering or starting a new phase.

When Lilith is at half health, she will start phase two. During this phase, she will spawn large orbs that explode when the player is close to them but will heal the player when they have been knocked down. Fire at the orbs to destroy them and have room to move, but leave a couple that can be shot while down to revive.

After Lilith has been defeated, the player can loot the area and go through the door she was guarding to collect the Buzz-Axe and view one of Psycho Krieg’s memories.
