Ascending Tide, the new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, is available now on Google Stadia, Mac, and PC; it most notably debuts two new PvE dungeons. This particular content release marks the start of ESO’s year-long Legacy of the Bretons adventure, which takes place in a previously unexplored region of Tamriel – the Systres Archipelago.

Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer ZeniMax Online Studios announced the new Elder Scrolls Online saga earlier this year, unleashing cursory details about two DLC releases, in particular. The first of such content drops includes the aforementioned Ascending Tide expansion, which ZeniMax Online will follow up with the High Isle Chapter in June. In the third quarter of this year, the production studio plans to deploy an unnamed dungeon pack for the Legacy of the Bretons adventure. The fourth quarter of 2022 will see the team roll out an all-new DLC story zone, as well. Details about the year’s final two Elder Scrolls Online DLC releases presently remain under wraps, with no word on when ZeniMax Online intends to share more.

Today, March 14, Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios released Elder Scrolls Online’sAscending Tide DLC for Google Stadia, Mac, and PC. The expansion hits PlayStation and Xbox platforms will later this month on Tuesday, March 29. Notably, Ascending Tide adds two PvP dungeons in the form of Shipwright’s Regret and the Coral Aerie. Shipwright’s Regret is an abandoned shipyard that plays host to Tamriel’s largest fleet. Meanwhile, according to a press release, players will team up with Captain Kaleen for a raid on the Coral Aerie, a “beautiful yet treacherous” locale that teases the stunning visuals to come throughout this year. The Ascending Tide expansion lays the groundwork for The Elder Scrolls Online’s High Isle Chapter, DLC slated to release for Google Stadia, Mac, and PC on Monday, June 6. Bethesda has the content’s PlayStation and Xbox launches penciled in for Tuesday, June 21. In terms of what the summer drop will entail, ESO users can expect to gain access to an explorable High Isle, companions Ember and Isobel, new Treasure Maps, Dreadsail Reef trial, and much more.

Bethesda Softworks originally launched The Elder Scrolls Online for PC in 2014; the console version hit PS4 and Xbox One the following year in June 2015.
