How tall is MCU and I, Tonya star Sebastian Stan? The actor made his screen debut in 1994’s 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance from director Michael Haneke as “Kid,” but the young Stan hated the experience so much he didn’t act again until a 2003 episode of Law & Order. More movie parts followed such as The Architect, and he delivered an enjoyably hammy villain turn in supernatural horror The Covenant. Stan later joined Gossip Girl where he had a recurring role as Carter Baizen, and in 2010 played a small role in acclaimed psychological horror Black Swan alongside Natalie Portman.

In 2009 Sebastian Stan was part of the cast of biblical epic Kings on NBC, which proved short-lived as it was canceled after one season. One of his most enjoyable turns came with 2010’s Hot Tub Time Machine, where he played douchy bully Blaine, who suspects the lead characters – who’ve traveled back in time to the 1980s – are secretly Russian spies. Easily his most recognizable role is Bucky Barnes – AKA The Winter Soldier – in the MCU. He joined the franchise with 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, appearing as Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) loyal friend who is seemingly killed during battle midway through the story.

Of course, that wasn’t the end for Sebastian Stan in the MCU, with sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier not only confirming Bucky survived, but he had been transformed in the titular assassin. Nearly a decade later and Stan is still a part of the franchise, with his next outing being Disney+ series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, which will reunite him with Anthony Mackie. As for Sebastian Stan’s height, the actor is 6 foot tall, or 1.83 m – making him more or less the same height as co-star Chris Evans.

Sebastian Stan has kept plenty busy outside his MCU duties. Following The First Avenger, he appeared beside screen icon Sigourney Weaver in well-received miniseries Political Animals in 2012 – which is the same year he starred in the atrocious ghost movie The Apparition. 2015 was a fruitful year for Stan, as he appeared in the ensemble of Ridley Scott hit The Martian and in comedies The Bronze and Meryl Streep’s Ricki And The Flash.

Sebastian Stan later received praise for his performance in 2017 real-life drama I, Tonya, where he played Tonya Harding’s husband Jeff Gillooly. He also starred alongside Nicole Kidman in dark thriller Destroyer and We Have Always Lived In The Castle in 2018. Stan’s most recent role came in Netflix thriller The Devil All The Time, which he co-starred in alongside Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland.
