How to Get Albedo’s Signature Weapon in Genshin Impact

Almost every character in Genshin Impact has a signature weapon, a weapon designed for them that serves as their best-in-slot, and Albedo’s signature weapon has officially changed. A character’s signature weapon not only usually matches them well aesthetically but also has main and sub stats that fit their kit perfectly. Each character’s signature weapon is the best choice to improve their performance in battle. Genshin Impact’s 2.3 Version update has finally introduced Albedo’s new signature weapon.

Alongside Albedo’s first re-run in Genshin Impact, the 4-Star Sword called the Cinnabar Spindle has been released, and it’s clear that this weapon is Albedo’s new best choice for combat. This weapon is exclusively available during the Shadow Amidst Snowstorms event of 2.3, meaning players only have a few more weeks to obtain it.

To obtain the Cinnabar Spindle in Genshin Impact, players will have to complete certain quests in the Shadow Amidst Snowstorms event. Players should make sure they’ve completed the event’s initial cutscenes in order to unlock the challenges. Then, they’ll be able to complete the necessary steps to unlock the Cinnabar Spindle and use it with Albedo.

How to Unlock the Cinnabar Spindle in Genshin Impact

To obtain the Cinnabar Spindle for free, players will build a Puffy Snowman in Genshin Impact. This can be done by finding snowman components, which are easily obtained by completing the special Tracker Training challenges in the Dragonspine Special Training event. Players will simply need to use Pyro to melt icicles in different areas around Dragonspine in order to find snowman parts.

After building their first snowman in the location indicated in the Event Tab, players can return to the Event Tab to claim their Cinnabar Spindle as a reward. In order to refine the weapon, players will need Alkahests. These can be bought in the Event Shop or obtained by completing event challenges.

The Cinnabar Spindle has Defense as a second stat, making it perfect for Albedo’s best build in Genshin Impact. Albedo’s abilities scale based on Defense. In addition, the Cinnabar Spindle increases Elemental Skill DMG by 40% of a character’s Defense, giving Albedo another huge damage boost on the field. This means that players who have Albedo and are interested in building him into a more viable unit shouldn’t miss unlocking this weapon. Not only is it free now, but it is also currently unclear whether it will be available once the event is over.
