How to Make Apriballs in Pokemon Sword & Shield

The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword & Shield reintroduces a lot of former items and Pokemon back into the game. One of the items that has been added to the game is the Apricorn which can be used to craft rare Pokeballs called Apriballs. While a set amount of Apriballs could be found in Pokemon Sword & Shield’s base game, the addition of Apricorns allows payers to craft an infinite amount of Apriballs… but with the right amount of luck.

Apriballs are still considered quite rare as players will need a decent amount of luck if they wish to craft them. First, players will need to collect raw Apricorns which can be found scattered around the Isle of Armor. These Apricorns can be found in a number of different ways, and players will need at least 4 to craft any kind of Pokeball. This guide will teach players how to use Apricorns to make Pokeballs and Apriballs.

Making Apriballs in Pokemon Sword & Sheild

First and foremost, players are going to need a lot of Apricorns. If they haven’t noticed by now, the Isle fo Armor is littered with Berry Trees that can be shaken to collect the tree’s fruit. The Isle of Armor trees are unique as they have the chance to contain Apricorns, and some can house quite a few. Players will need at least 4 to craft any kind of ball, but it is recommended to collect much more. It could take hundreds or Apricorns before a player crafts an Apriball.

In order to craft an Apriball, players will need to have access to the Cram-o-Matic, which is a robotic Cramorant located inside the dojo on the Isle of Armor. Players will need to pay 500 Watts in order to get him up and running, but after that, they can use it as much as they want. The Cram-o-Matic takes four of the player’s items and combines them into one different item. Some combinations will net the player a specific item, while other combinations will give the player something completely random.

Sad enough, there are not guaranteed recipes to craft Apriballs other than using Apricorns. Using four Apricorns will always net the player a Pokeball, but the type of Pokeball is random. But players still have a chance of crafting a rare Apriball or even a Masterball by using different colored Apricorns.

There are 11 different Apriballs, including the Masterball, that players have a chance at crafting. Those balls are the Master Ball, Fast Ball, Safari Ball, Friend Ball, Lure Ball, Moon Ball, Dream Ball, Level Ball, Love Ball, Heavy Ball, and Beast Ball.
