Life After Lockup: What We Know About Shawn’s New Convict Girlfriend Sara

Shawn Osbourne from Life After Lockup has finally introduced his new convict girlfriend Sara, and it’s time to share information about her. After making his debut on the popular spin-off show, Shawn returned to the franchise with a new leading lady. He remains hopeful of finding love following a tumultuous relationship and messy breakup with his ex, Destinie. Now, with Destinie behind him, Shawn has welcomed a new girlfriend who is fresh out of prison.

Viewers last saw Shawn in Love After Lockup season 3. He made his debut on the show with his then-girlfriend, Destinie. After meeting through a “meet an inmate” platform, Shawn thought he struck gold with Destinie. However, as soon as she was released from prison, her ulterior motives became clear. Destinie from Life After Lockup wanted Shawn’s money and loved hitting the town. She had no intention of being with Shawn despite his proposal, even though he chose her over his children and the mother of his kids. Destinie found every reason she could to break up with Shawn. Once he finally opened his eyes to her manipulative ways, Shawn left Destinie for good. He moved on to another prison inmate.

In Life After Lockup Season 4, Shawn makes a return with a new relationship. Viewers are introduced to Sara, a recently released convict who served out six years for involuntary manslaughter. At first glance, Sara seemed like a breath of fresh air. She appeared just as excited as Shawn was to meet for the first time. She shared how attracted she was to Shawn and hoped their Life After Lockup relationship could work. Sara had no intention of going back to prison after she ended up there following a tragic accident. She admitted to doing drugs with a friend who died of an overdose. As a result of her involvement, Sara was slapped with a felony charge and hauled off to prison.

Shawn admitted that he was talking to Sara and Destinie at the same time and ended up choosing Destinie. However, after realizing what a big mistake that was, Shawn set his sights on Sara. The season started with Shawn telling the mother of his kids about Sara. She expressed her disappointment over Shawn falling in love with another inmate in light of how horribly it ended the last time. Then, Shawn focused on making things work with Sara. He expressed his excitement over her looks and body size while sharing his joy about getting intimate with her.

However, as soon as Sara was released, she admitted that she had a secret that she’d been hiding from Shawn. Of course, that wasn’t too much of a surprise for viewers. Despite Sara’s sweet appearance, she is following in the footsteps of other show alums who came out of prison and weren’t honest with the partners who patiently awaited their releases.
