While Love is Blind is supposed to be totally serious, and many of the singles going on the show really do genuinely want to find love, it’s tough not to find humor in some situations. Season 2, especially, was full of funny moments, interactions, and situations, many of which were totally meme-worthy.

From freeze-framed faces at the perfect moment to comments that make total sense or quotes that perfectly fit, fans have been pretty active online creating both memes and clever Tweets to commemorate some of the funniest moments of this reality TV show’s second outing.

Walk Away Slowly

The Tweet perfectly captures what any woman might think if seeing Shayne walk towards them with this freeze frames face. The expression with the open mouth and the wide eyes suggests that Shayne is about to attack the person he is approaching, not embrace them.

While he likely had a series of emotions flood over him after finally getting to see Natalie in person, this Twitter user managed to capture his face at just the right moment to turn it into a hilarious meme.

Dodged A Bullet

Shayne initially seemed to have some lingering feelings about Shaina, even behaving as though he was torn when she finally declared her feelings for him right before he was going to propose to Natalie. Finally seeing her in person at an informal barbecue might have initially made his heart jump since Shaina is a very beautiful woman.

But once she confronted him and started going on and on about how his relationship with Natalie was fake and would never last, even calling it a joke, the look on his face said it all. It was one of the biggest fights on Love is Blind season 2. Shayne didn’t say much, likely because he was thinking just what this meme suggests.

Initially, fans felt bad for Kyle because even though he fell hard for Shaina, she felt more strongly for someone else and couldn’t get Shayne out of her mind. But then Kyle proposed anyway, even knowing they had deep religious differences.

Fast forward to Mexico where Shaina was cold and distant, even declaring they should sleep in different rooms and leaving in the early evening to go to her own suite. She then packed her bags and left. Even after an awkward meet with her family back in Chicago and Shaina telling Kyle she didn’t think there was a future for them, he persisted. So, if there’s ever a meme that accurately captures the situation, it’s this one.

So Lucky

Another meme poking fun at Kyle taking the concept of love being blind too far, it points out a few other reasons that Kyle should have run for the hills to keep his self-respect intact. He ate a piece of meat for her, even though he had been a strict vegan for eight years.

She argued with him that the Big Bang Theory and evolution did not exist, and, as noted, abandoned him at 7:40 p.m. as though their evening was over, leaving him sitting on a bed in a robe in Mexico by himself. Yet in his diary room sessions, Kyle couldn’t stop talking about how lucky he was to have met her. Continuing to pursue Shaina was the worst thing Kyle did on Love is Blind season 2.

Red Flags

It’s true that no context is needed at all for this meme, which perfectly represents just about every couple on the show. From Danielle’s outbursts when Nick seemingly didn’t do anything wrong to Jarrette’s honest but brutal reveal in the pods that Iyanna was his second choice for a proposal, there would have been relationship sirens going off at every turn had they existed on the show.

The show did end with a few successful weddings, but the red flags continued right to the end for many of the couples.

Indeed, this is likely how all three felt when they first met in person. With that said, while Shayne did question if he should marry Natalie at one point, one of the biggest surprises in Love is Blind season 2, it likely didn’t have anything to do with Shaina.

The gold cups on the show were almost as popular as the cast members themselves, garnering tons of memes and Tweets of their own, like this one. Fans are still confused about the significance of the very distinctive-looking cups and why they appear in every shot of every scene of the show.

From drinking in the pods to back in their new shared apartments, every cast member is always drinking wine or some other beverage from one of these fancy gold cups. Thus, they definitely receive the most screen time award, according to this Tweet.

It’s Her Again!

Every fan watching Love is Blind instantly recognized after a few episodes that Shaina had a similar look to season 1’s Jessica. As the show progressed, it was evident that Shaina was Jessica’s counterpart from Love is Blind after her story started to follow the same trajectory as well.

Both accepted proposals from younger men who were their second choices after the man they fell for first decided he had a deeper connection with someone else. They then decided to confront the guys. This meme featuring Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the TV as though many fans might have done when coming to this realization is absolute perfection.
