The success of Only Murders in the Building has led fans to search for merchandise to show their dedication to the Hulu series. Starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, the trio make a unique friend group as they search for a murder on the loose in their New York apartment building called the Arconia.

The series takes viewers on twists and turns as the trio tries to solve the murder of Tim Kono (and later, other mysteries). Now that season 1 is over and season 2 is said to start filming at the end of 2021, fans are buying clothes, home decor, and stickers from Etsy to show off their love and support for one of Hulu’s best dark comedies.

When Charles, Oliver, and Mabel decided that they were going to create a podcast based on the murder of their neighbor Tim Kono, the only suspect was a man dressed in a tie-dye sweatshirt that was heading up to Tim’s floor during a fire alarm. Charles called the unrecognizable man Tie-Dye Guy. Tie-Dye Guy ended up being Mabel’s friend Oscar, who claimed he had nothing to do with Tim’s murder. Oliver is one of the funniest characters in the series. He’s witty and spontaneous — he’s funny without realizing how funny he is.

In the Arconia, Oliver lives there alone with his bulldog Winnie. Sadly, at the start of their investigation, Winnie was poisoned and near death. After doing some digging, Oliver and co. believed Winnie’s hitman was none other than their neighbor and famed musician, Sting. Sting ran into Winnie and Oliver in the elevator where Sting admitted he didn’t like dogs, which prompted Oliver to warn Winnie about Sting. When there was a flashback of Oliver pitching his idea for Splash! The Musical, the idea was so ludicrous yet appealing that his partner Teddy Dimas couldn’t say no. As fans know, his idea for Splash! failed. Having a pool on stage did not work out and it led to lawsuits, financial issues, and the end of Oliver’s career as a director. One behind-the-scenes fact about Only Murders in the Building is that the Arconia is not a real apartment building. According to Dirt, the Arconia is a combination of three buildings in New York: The Belnord, 270 Riverside Dr., and Silvercup Studios North.

After a cliff-hanger in the first season, Only Murders In The Building fans have burning questions that need to be answered in the second season. Due to her knowledge of the inner workings of the Arconia, there are theories that Ursula’s the one who really knew what happened to Tim Kono, Zoe, and Bunny. 4 Stick A Charles-Haden Savage Quote To Anything!

If all true crime podcasts were as good as Only Murders in the Building, there would be some steep competition. Charles and Oliver’s dedication to being trendy and relatable made the characters (and their podcast) endearing. At the start of the series, Charles is reminded of the name Lucy but the identity of Lucy is never revealed. Eventually, when Charles was on his first date with Jan, he admitted that Lucy was his former partner’s daughter. Charles became Lucy’s father figure and he still thought of her even though he and her mother were no longer together. His sensitivity around the subject made Charles one of the best characters because viewers could sense how much he cared for Lucy.
