Togekiss is among the strongest Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and its strengths can be enhanced further if it has a beneficial nature. A Pokémon’s nature is a feature in most main series games that provide hidden boosts or hindrances to the given Pokémon’s stats. In most cases, a Pokémon’s nature will further improve a single stat, while simultaneously decreasing another. Additionally, there are also several natures that provide no increase or decrease to a Pokémon’s stats at all in Legends: Arceus.

In total, there are 25 different natures that a Pokémon can have, and the different strengths and weaknesses of various Pokémon impact which nature is best for them. Fortunately, players can change a Pokémon’s nature in Legends: Arceus with Nature Mints if their Pokémon’s nature plays against their strengths. For example, Togekiss’ worst feature is its Attack stat, so any nature that increases that stat is a terrible nature for Togekiss, specifically.

Togekiss has exceptional Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense stats, and average HP and Speed stats. With the right nature, however, any Togekiss in Pokémon Legends: Arceus can have any of these stats improved, which oftentimes leads to more battle victories. Although there are few trainer battles in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it’s important for all Pokémon to have a nature that best suits them because so much of the game requires players to battle and catch wild Pokémon. In some cases, like Space-Time Distortions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players may need to use their Togekiss against more than one Pokémon at a time, and a beneficial nature can help increase the odds of successfully defeating the horde of Pokémon.

What Nature Is Best For Togekiss In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

A Togekiss with a nature that improves either its Speed or Special Attack stat is best, but players will want to make sure the benefit isn’t at the cost of one of Togekiss’ other aforementioned stats in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Since Togekiss already has a low Attack stat, the best natures for Togekiss are either Timid or Modest. A Timid nature will decrease Togekiss’ Attack stat while raising its Speed, whereas a Modest nature will lower the Attack stat but increase its Special Attack stat in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Since Pokémon Legends: Arceus uses Agile and Strong Style combat during battles, players may actually want to opt for the Timid nature over a Modest nature for Togekiss. When combined with an Agile style move, Togekiss’ Speed stat may help it not only attack first, but attack multiple times before the opponent, or opponents, have a chance to retaliate. Togekiss already has a naturally high Special Attack stat, so a Timid nature would only help strengthen its overall offensive capabilities in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available on Nintendo Switch.
